Stitches’ Spotlight is the circus-tent minigame introduced during Week 3 of Adopt Me!’s Halloween event. A round runs for two minutes. You circle the tent to gather Candy Corn as Stitches, the patchwork rabbit on the center stage, moves a spotlight over the track. Being illuminated wipes out the Candy Corn you’ve gathered during that round. Your final haul depends more on avoiding detection than on moving quickly.
Quick answer: Collect as much as you can while only one spotlight is active. Hide behind target boards or switch platforms when a beam approaches, and once the light passes, follow directly behind it.
Stitches’ Spotlight round rules
The minigame runs on a schedule. A pop-up in the world asks if you want to teleport to the next game. Accept it, or enter the circus tent at the Halloween Carnival in Adopt Me! on Roblox. You then wait in a lobby queue with a countdown sign until the next match starts.
| Rule | How it works |
|---|---|
| Round length | 2 minutes |
| Goal | Collect Candy Corn around the tent’s edge |
| Threat | Stitches’ moving spotlight |
| Penalty | You lose the Candy Corn collected that round |
| Cover | Target boards that Stitches knocks down |
| Map layout | Upper and lower platforms linked by pads |
| Late-round change | A second spotlight appears |
A counter floating above your character shows how much Candy Corn you’re holding. That number is what’s at risk every time a beam sweeps toward you.

When the spotlight catches you, your character turns red and your Candy Corn count drops. The game’s own reminder sums it up: “Avoid Stitches’ Spotlight to keep your Candy!” Losing a stack late in a lap undoes several seconds of work, so watching the beam matters more than reaching the next pickup.
Wooden target boards along the track interrupt the spotlight. Duck behind one when a beam nears, and remain there until it moves on. The boards offer only temporary protection: Stitches brings them down during the performance, so use each for just a few seconds and note where the next board is.

Keep your camera turned so you can see where the spotlight is heading. Most catches happen when you’re facing a row of Candy Corn and the beam comes from behind.
Switching platforms with the teleport pads
The arena has two levels. Glowing circular pads on the floor of the lower track launch you up to the second-story walkway. The pads serve two purposes. They let you escape a beam that’s closing in, and they open a separate route with its own Candy Corn when the lower lap is picked clean or crowded.

Stitches’ Spotlight power-ups and speed boost
Glowing pickups appear around the track during a round. Each one shows a message when you collect it. Separately, the game also gives you a speed boost you can trigger whenever you choose.
| Boost | How you get it | On-screen message | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Speed | Runner icon pickup | “Go fast! Speed increased!” | Temporary speed increase |
| Magnet | Horseshoe magnet pickup | “Sticky situation! Magnet range increased” | Wider pickup radius |
| Dash | Orange icon, bottom right, or E | “Press E for a Speed Boost!” | Speed burst when you choose |
The magnet does the most for your total. A wider radius pulls in Candy Corn without making you hug the track’s edge, so you collect more on each pass while staying closer to cover. Save the dash for escapes. Using it the moment a beam turns toward you is often what keeps you out of the light.
Collecting early and trailing the beam
Near the end of each round, a second spotlight joins the first. With two beams moving, there are far fewer safe spots on the track and you’ll have to stop and hide more often. That makes the single-spotlight phase your best chance to build a total. Play aggressively at the start of the round and expect less progress at the end.
The most dependable way to move is right behind a beam, not ahead of it. Once the light has swept past a section, that section stays safe for a moment. Following directly behind the beam lets you collect without wondering when it will return. Running ahead of a beam means you’re racing it, and getting caught there costs you your whole stack.

Playing Stitches’ Spotlight on a private server
Public matches crowd the track with other players. That makes the beams harder to read and means there’s more competition for the same Candy Corn. Playing on a private server cuts out that clutter, so you can watch the spotlight and plan your route without anyone else in the way.
Checking your Candy Corn after a round
When the timer ends, a “GAME OVER!” screen appears. It shows your Candy Earned for the round next to your total Candy Corn balance, along with the match leaderboard. Candy Earned is the number to compare from round to round. Typical results range from 144 Candy Corn in a cautious run to 228 and 245 in cleaner ones. After the results, you return to the lobby, where the next match starts on its own and a leaderboard board lists the top scores.
Those per-round amounts add up toward this week’s Carnival rewards. Stitches costs 70,000 Candy Corn and is sold outside the Carnival. The Stitches Neck Ruffle costs 5,000 and is a separate purchase, so a few clean two-minute rounds make a real difference.
