The Sorcerer is one of the easier classes to level in Aion 2. It fights from 20 meters with a Spellbook, and most of its damage comes from a short loop of fire skills. Pair a fire loadout with the in-game skill macro, and leveling comes down to holding two buttons. There is one catch. Hellfire and Flame Arrow both need to stay off the macro if you want them to work properly.
Quick answer: Hold Flame Arrow on left mouse and the macro on right mouse. Put Wish of Concentration, Flame Scattershot, Firestorm and Blaze in the macro, and fire Hellfire from its own key.

Sorcerer fire skills and unlock levels in Aion 2
The fire kit opens up within the first dozen levels. Ice skills like Ice Chain and Frost show up just as early, and the game nudges you toward them, but the fire skills come off cooldown quickly enough that you rarely wait on anything.
| Skill | Unlock level | Cooldown | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | None | Basic attack, restores 100 MP | |
| 1 | 5s | Single-target fire hit, 250 MP | |
| 3 | 15s | Area effect that can hit four enemies | |
| 4 | 5s | Hits Fire Mark targets, restores 100 MP | |
| 5 | None | Hits only staggered targets | |
| 12 | 60s | +10% Attack, +100 Accuracy for 10s |
Blaze only lands on a target carrying Fire Mark, which your fire attacks apply on their own. In practice it is ready every five seconds. Flame Scattershot is the odd one out. It does nothing until a target is staggered, so it sits idle in most early fights.

Add to Google Preferences →Early Specialty picks for levels 1–20
Each active skill offers its first Specialty choice at skill level 8. There is no strict upgrade order this early. Raise skills as they unlock, and push everything except Flame Scattershot to level 8 first. Resetting Specialties and Stigmas costs nothing, so you can experiment freely.
- Flame Arrow: +20% MP restored
- Firestorm: +20% Skill Speed
- Blaze: Delayed Damage after 3s
- Flame Scattershot: HP absorb
- Wish of Concentration: +10% additional Attack
- Hellfire: fire damage over time on hit
For passives, put points into Fire Mark and Robe of Flame first. Fire Mark adds bonus damage to your fire hits, and Robe of Flame raises your overall damage and Double Chance. Robe of Earth comes next. It raises max MP and MP regen, and it adds Critical Hit while your MP stays above 50%. It is the passive to feed once your active skills are capped for your current level.

How to set up the Sorcerer skill macro in Aion 2
The macro presses skills from Quick Slot lines for you while you hold one key. Each line casts the first ready skill it finds, checking from the bottom row upward. Any key you press by hand takes priority over the macro.
You’ll know it is working when holding both mouse buttons fires Flame Arrow continuously and slots in Firestorm and Blaze whenever they come off cooldown.
Hellfire has three charge stages. Keep it out of the macro: holding its separate key lets it reach maximum charge, while the macro triggers only the first stage.
Level 20 Sorcerer macro lines
Flame Arrow is the basic attack and can’t go into a macro, so you hold it alongside the macro key. The rest of the kit fits on two lines.
| Macro line | Skills |
|---|---|
| Line 1 | Wish of Concentration, Flame Scattershot |
| Line 2 | Firestorm, Blaze |
| Held by hand | Flame Arrow, Hellfire |
The macro skips Flame Scattershot until a boss is staggered, then casts it on its own. Firestorm and Blaze both run on five-second cooldowns, and Flame Arrow fills those gaps while topping up your MP.
Wish of Concentration uses 100 MP to grant 10% more Attack and 100 Accuracy for 10 seconds, with a 60-second cooldown. At skill level 8, its Specialty choices are 10% less MP cost, an extra 10% Attack, or +500 Max MP. The extra Attack is the best choice for leveling.

Sorcerer passives that unlock after level 20
Skills normally gain at most one level every three character levels. Three Sorcerer passives break that rule. Grace of Enhancement, Revitalization Contract and Vitality Evaporation can be raised to level 10 as soon as you learn them, which makes them a cheap place to spend spare points.
| Passive | Unlock level | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 15 | +11.2% Mental and Impact Resist | |
| 21 | +20% PvE, +10% PvP Damage Boost at 25%+ MP | |
| 23 | +17% Status Effect Resist | |
| 25 | Bonus hit on targets above 70% HP |
Grace of Enhancement gives its full damage boost at skill level 1. Further levels only raise its proc, a 50% chance on hit to deal 106 (+18% of Attack) magic damage, rising to 454 (+18% of Attack) at level 40, with a one-second cooldown. Keep your MP at 25% or higher, or the damage boost switches off.

Vitality Evaporation deals 261 (+39% of Attack) damage when you hit a target above 70% HP, scaling to 1,001 (+39% of Attack) at level 40, once per second. It front-loads damage on fresh pulls. After the passives above, Robe of Cold adds defense and slows enemies that hit you, and Absorb Essence is there if MP becomes a problem. If MP isn’t an issue, upgrade Absorb Essence last.

Sorcerer Stigmas and leveling order
Stigmas open once you finish the Ascension quest and use the Stigma Shard it hands you. You start with a single slot and gain more as you level, reaching four by level 45. Stigmas have long cooldowns, so they serve as buffs and burst windows rather than filler.
| Stigma | Role | Target level |
|---|---|---|
| Fire and Water Attack buff | 10 | |
| Ground fire damage over time | 5 | |
| AoE plus Frostbite | 5 | |
| Debuff that raises your damage | 5 |
Element Enhancement requires level 22 and raises your Fire Attack and Water Attack by 20% for 10 seconds on a 60-second cooldown. Its Specialty breakpoints are where the value lies. Level 5 adds +200 Accuracy, and level 10 multiplies the Robe of Flame effect by 1.5. Level 15 does the same for Grace of Enhancement, and level 20 adds another 10% Fire and Water Attack. Push it to 10 before anything else.

Leave the other three at level 5 to collect their first Specialty. If you keep dying, swap Cold Storm for Steel Barrier, which adds a shield. If your group struggles to stagger bosses, Divine Burst is the swap for Cold Storm instead.
Skill priority from level 30 to 45
By level 30 the whole kit is available. The target from here is skill level 12 across your main skills, which opens the second Specialty slot. Skill points get you to 10, and Daevanion Board nodes add up to four more. Sealed Dungeons are a quick top-up if you run short on skill points.
| Priority | Skill | Specialties |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | +10% Attack, +10% Combat Speed | |
| 2 | +50% Multi-Hit, +5% Fire Damage Boost | |
| 3 | +20% Skill Speed, -2s Hellfire per fireball | |
| 4 | Delayed Damage, Multi-Hit | |
| 5 | +1s duration, ignores Block and Evasion | |
| 6 | Skill Speed, ignores Block and Evasion | |
| 7 | Mobile skill, Multi-Hit | |
| 8 | PvE Damage Boost |
Firestorm’s level 12 Specialty is what ties the rotation together. Every fireball that lands takes two seconds off Hellfire, so the more Firestorms you cast, the more full-charge Hellfires you get. Flame Arrow’s Fire Damage Boost triggers when its chain reaches Pyroclasm, the third hit in the Flame Arrow, Burst and Pyroclasm sequence. Bittercold Wind’s level 12 pick also makes it land as a Critical Hit, and its pull is useful for clumping packs before a Hellfire.

For big packs while leveling, Frost freezes up to four enemies and always lands Frost on NPCs. A second skill preset with Ice Chain in the macro keeps your boss setup intact, since each preset stores its own skill and Stigma levels.
Level 45 Sorcerer macro order
With four Stigmas equipped, the macro grows into a single buff-to-damage sequence. Hellfire and Flame Scattershot both stay on manual keys, and Flame Arrow stays on left mouse.
| Order | Skill | Job in the rotation |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Attack buff | |
| 2 | Fire and Water buff | |
| 3 | Damage debuff | |
| 4 | Slows enemies | |
| 5 | Ground damage | |
| 6 | Ground damage | |
| 7 | AoE damage | |
| 8 | Damage and MP | |
| 9 | Damage and Hellfire cooldown |
Fire your full-charge Hellfire while Element Enhancement and Wish of Concentration are both active. A clean boss opener is Element Enhancement, then Delayed Explosion, then a manual full Hellfire. After that, Bittercold Wind, Blaze, Firestorm and Wish loop with Flame Arrow in the gaps. Some players prefer to pull Element Enhancement, Delayed Explosion, Fire Wall and Cold Storm off the macro entirely. That way they can time buffs right before a Hellfire and drop ground effects only while the boss stands still.
Level 16 skill breakpoints after level 45
Once you reach item level 1400, Vakron Sky Island on Conquest difficulty becomes your regular source of gear. The next goal is skill level 16, where the Sorcerer’s cooldown-reduction Specialties come online. Use the Daevanion Board to take skills from 12 to 14, then Soul Binding on gear for the last levels. Soul Binding costs a lot of Kina. At 1600 item power you can farm Arcana Cards from Transcendence Dungeons instead.
| Skill | Level 16 Specialty |
|---|---|
| -10s on all skill cooldowns | |
| Shorter cooldown | |
| -3s Wish of Concentration cooldown on hit | |
| +15% damage per fireball, up to +75% | |
| -1s all skill cooldowns on hit | |
| Pyroclasm resets Blaze cooldown |
Get Wish of Concentration to 16 before anything else. Every Blaze hit then shortens Wish, and every Wish cast takes 10 seconds off the rest of your kit, which lets most skills fit in an extra cast per cycle. Flame Scattershot’s version does the same work during stagger windows, where the macro can cast it nonstop.

At level 16, place Wish of Concentration in the macro’s final slot. Casting it after your damage skills lets its 10-second reduction affect cooldowns already in progress. Blaze, Firestorm and Bittercold Wind then return to the rotation sooner, and Firestorm also speeds up Hellfire’s return.
