Gold is the base currency in Pixel Lineage, the turn-based roguelike on Roblox. You need it for town repairs, Blacksmith crafting, honing, and bids at the Auction House. You earn it from combat, free rewards, and player sales. Some of those sources are repeatable, and some pay out once. Fast farming comes from stacking the repeatable sources and multiplying them, not from charging into the hardest difficulty.
Quick answer: Run campaign routes you can clear without dying, equip the Oath of the Lucky Coin, redeem gold codes, and claim the Wishing Fountain streak daily. The Day 7 reward alone pays 10,200 gold.
Pixel Lineage gold sources compared
| Source | Gold | Repeatable? | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Campaign runs | Varies by route and difficulty | Yes | A route you can finish |
| Elites and minibosses | Extra payout on top of the run | Yes | Survive the fight |
| Oath of the Lucky Coin | +5% to +10%, plus bonus purses | Passive | Knowledge to rank it |
| Todd’s Stapler | +230% gold gain | Passive | Rare secret boss drop |
| Wishing Fountain | 27,850 over 7 days | Weekly streak | Log in daily |
| Guild Raids | Scales with damage | 3 attempts a day | Guild access |
| Codes | Up to 2,500 per code | Once each | Join the Roblox group |
| Auction House sales | Set by buyers | Yes | 250 gold repair |
Combat is the only source with no ceiling. Everything else either has a fixed amount or a daily limit. That makes it a supplement to your runs, and the multipliers matter because they scale whatever your runs already earn.

Add to Google Preferences →Farming gold from campaign runs
Every completed adventure node and every defeated enemy pays gold. Victory panels list the reward after each fight. A Sunmeadow Wilds act clear, for example, shows 150 gold alongside other loot. Elite enemies and minibosses such as Grubnik the Goblin Chief pay more than standard encounters, so routes that pass through them earn more per run.

The Path cards determine a route’s payout. Scout awards gold and materials without a battle. Blood Altar, Camp, Mini-Boss, and Hunt a Champion each offer a different balance of danger and reward. Some mystery events can also exchange health for gold. A red-stone event, for example, gives 40 gold and Focus in return for 20% HP, so check the choices before accepting.
Pick a difficulty you clear quickly
Gold per hour depends on clear speed, not on the toughest content you can barely survive. A run that ends in defeat pays nothing for the time you spent on it, burns potions, and can cost one of your three starting Lives. The difficulty ladder runs Normal, Hard, Nightmare, then the Torment tiers. Stay on the highest setting your build finishes reliably every time.
The Torment area-clear loop for advanced builds
Once a build can handle Torment, the fastest gold comes from running a Torment tier well below your limit and ending every fight on the first turn or two. The example setup uses area-of-effect damage, spare skill points, and a pet.
Avoid the boss rush party modifier while farming. It cuts currency, XP, and loot rewards.
Oath of the Lucky Coin gold bonuses
The Oath of the Lucky Coin is the third oath in the first row. You pay for its ranks with Knowledge, not gold. Outside of farming it is a fairly niche pick, so swap it in for gold runs and swap it out for content you are pushing.
| Lucky Coin stage | Effect |
|---|---|
| Rank I | +5% gold |
| Rank II | +10% gold |
| Upgrade | +10 gold and a 30% chance of a bonus purse after each won battle |
The bonus purse rolls after every victory on a run, not just at the end. That favors the same short, multi-fight routes that already pay best.
Todd’s Stapler and the Todd from Accounting secret boss
Todd’s Stapler is a secret relic that grants +230% gold gain before honing, which makes it the strongest gold multiplier in the game. It drops from Todd from Accounting, a secret boss with a 0.5% encounter chance (1 in 200). Beating him gives the Stapler only half the time.
Combined, those odds work out to roughly a 0.25% chance per encounter roll, or about 1 in 400. Do not plan a farm around it. Treat the Stapler as a windfall that turns an existing route into a much better one if it ever drops. Honing at the Blacksmith raises its bonus further.
Free gold from codes, the Wishing Fountain, and Guild Raids
Pixel Lineage gold codes
Codes give lump sums of gold along with Knowledge, potions, spins, and Lives. Each code works once per account.
| Code | Gold | Other rewards |
|---|---|---|
| LEGENDS | 2,500 | 100 Knowledge, 5 Potions, 5 Race Spins, 5 Talent Spins, whetstones |
| TORMENT | 1,000 | 100 Knowledge, 3 Potions, 8 Race Spins, 8 Talent Spins |
| SLOOTH | 500 | 75 Knowledge, 3 Potions, 3 Talent Spins |
TORMENT is listed as expiring on November 1, 2026. SLOOTH may already be expired, so try it but do not count on it. LEGENDS also requires you to have created a character first.
Wishing Fountain daily login streak
Toss a coin into the Wishing Fountain in town once a day to claim the next reward in a seven-day streak. Gold is the main payout, and some days also include Knowledge or potions.
| Streak day | Gold |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | 2,550 |
| Day 2 | 2,050 |
| Day 3 | 1,550 |
| Day 4 | 5,100 |
| Day 5 | 2,550 |
| Day 6 | 3,850 |
| Day 7 | 10,200 |
A full week pays 27,850 gold, and more than a third of that comes on Day 7. Brand-new accounts have seen much smaller first-day slots, around 100 gold, so check the amounts on your own fountain. Your Inbox can also hold one-off gifts, such as a 500-gold gift paired with 250 Knowledge.
Guild Raids
Guild Raids give three attempts per day, each lasting 10 rounds. Gold and reputation scale with the damage you deal, so use all three attempts after your farming build is set up.
Selling loot on the Auction House
The Auction House starts out broken. It costs 250 gold to repair, and you can pay the same amount for a quick build instead of waiting. After that, you can list spare gear, relics, pets, and armor for other players to buy. A sale usually earns more than selling the same item from your inventory. Heirlooms, secret-rarity items, and high-tier pets regularly sell for very large sums.

The limits matter. Sales carry a 10% transaction fee, and the market is often full, so getting a listing in can be hard. Listing caps have also been tightened after a surge in players. That means you may only be able to list a single item at a time, rather than the earlier limit of five. Put your most in-demand item up first, such as a weapon with a strong power, an heirloom, or spare dungeon keys. A listing is not income until it sells, so check the settlement before you spend the money.
Some items, including the Restore One Life offer at the Goblin Merchant, cost Robux rather than gold. Gold cannot replace those purchases.
Pixel Lineage gold costs worth planning around
| Purchase | Gold cost |
|---|---|
| Auction House repair | 250 |
| Blacksmith repair | 150 (5:00 build time) |
| HP Potion (Alchemist) | 25 |
| Frostbrand craft | 900 plus materials |
| Voidreaver craft | 1,800 plus materials |
Repair the Auction House and the Blacksmith first. One opens player sales, and the other turns gold into crafting, honing, and prestige upgrades that raise your clear speed. Faster clears mean more gold per hour. To measure that, record your starting gold, ending gold, and time spent for about ten runs on a route. Leave code rewards and sales out of the count, then compare the result against a lower or higher tier before you switch.
