In CloverFall, playing as Mereoleona means owning the Legendary Hellfire Magic grimoire and finishing the Hellfire Warden’s awakening quest, which unlocks the Hellfire Awakening transformation on your G key. Most players also add the Vermillion clan and Mereoleona’s outfit to complete the look. The quest itself is a checklist of six tasks, and the Warden won’t unseal anything until every line on it is full.
Quick answer: Roll Hellfire Magic at the Grimoire Tower. Then accept “Awakening: Hellfire Awakening” from the Hellfire Warden in the Desert, complete all six tasks, and return to him to press “Unlock Hellfire Awakening.”
Hellfire Awakening quest requirements
The quest log for “Awakening: Hellfire Awakening” tracks six objectives. All of them must show as complete before the Warden will finish the quest.

Two things people associate with Mereoleona are not on this list. The Vermillion clan and her outfit pieces don’t gate the unlock. They’re the build and cosmetic side of the character, and both come up naturally along the way.
How to get the Vermillion clan and Hellfire Magic
Vermillion clan (Legendary)
Vermillion is a Legendary clan with a 1 in 100 base chance, rolled from the Clan roll menu using clan spins. It is a melee-heavy clan, which suits Mereoleona’s brawler style.

Hellfire Magic grimoire (Legendary)
Hellfire Magic comes from the Grimoire Keeper inside the Grimoire Tower. Each roll costs 200 Arcanite. The drop rate is 1 in 200, and pity guarantees it within 100 rolls. Fly there on your broom, open the Grimoire Bag, and keep rolling until Hellfire Magic appears.
Codes are the cheapest way to fund those rolls, and several also hand out clan spins for Vermillion. Codes are entered from the CODES tab on the loading screen when you launch CloverFall on Roblox, and they are case-sensitive.

Starting the quest at the Hellfire Warden
Completing each Hellfire Awakening task
Hellfire Trial: survive 90 seconds
After you select “Begin the Hellfire Trial,” mobs spawn and attack. You must stay inside the marked circle on the ground for 90 seconds while dodging. Leaving the circle defeats the point of the trial, so treat its edge as a wall.
Subdue Yami Sukehiro
“Face Yami” spawns a Lv. 1200 Yami Sukehiro with 246,000 health. You don’t need to kill him, only push his health below 10%. He can easily kill a player who starts the fight low on health. If you die, you respawn at Hage Village and have to fly back to the Desert to try again, so start the fight at full health.
Mereoleona Boss Raid and Hellfire Cores
The Mereoleona Boss Raid (Hard) is a group run of 10 enemy waves capped by a Lv. 1 Mereoleona Vermillion boss with 12,000,000 health. You need five clears. Dealing roughly 5% to 10% of the boss’s total damage yourself secures credit and drops, so don’t coast behind the party.
Those same runs cover two other requirements. Hellfire Cores drop directly from defeating Mereoleona, and you need three. Raid fights are also the fastest place to build mastery.
250 Hellfire Magic mastery
Mastery climbs as you use Hellfire skills in combat. Running extra Mereoleona raids after your fifth clear handles mastery and any missing Hellfire Cores at the same time. The Hellfire Pendant is a single item you also need in your inventory before turning the quest in.
Mereoleona outfit from Hellfire Raid Chests
Every Mereoleona Boss Raid clear awards a Hellfire Raid Chest, which opens into one random reward. Her three outfit pieces are in that pool, alongside filler like 2x EXP Potions and 2x Luck Potions, each lasting 15 minutes. Expect to open a lot of chests. The cape is Mythic and arrives last for most people.

The Top and Pants values are at five stars, while the Cape values are at one star.
Unlocking and using Hellfire Awakening
With all six tasks full, return to the Hellfire Warden in the Desert and choose “Unlock Hellfire Awakening.” If anything is still missing, he sends you away to finish it. When everything is in place, his line changes to “You have it all, then let us unseal it,” and a confirmation appears: “Hellfire Awakening unlocked! Press G, hold Y on a controller or tap Awaken to use it.” That message is your proof the unlock worked.

Activating the awakening wraps your character in a fiery aura and amplifies the Hellfire kit, with a noticeably bigger Hellfire Vortex. With Vermillion’s melee bonuses underneath and the full outfit equipped, that transformed state is as close to Mereoleona as CloverFall currently gets.
