Dreamy Rabbit Fur is a legendary-quality hide in Once Human. No vendor sells it, so the only way to get it is to hunt wild rabbits and hope it shows up when you harvest the carcass. Every rabbit you skin gives you a roll at it, which means the fastest method is simply to kill a lot of rabbits in places where they bunch up.

Quick answer: Kill and harvest wild rabbits. Each one has a small chance to drop Dreamy Rabbit Fur. The Broken Delta coastline is a dense spot, with about 20 rabbits along one stretch of shore.

Dreamy Rabbit Fur drop rules

The fur comes from one source, the wild rabbit. When you harvest a rabbit you always get standard loot like Rabbit Meat. Dreamy Rabbit Fur is a random, low-chance extra on top of that. There is no way to make a kill guaranteed, so plan to skin many rabbits in one session instead of chasing a few scattered ones.

  • Source: wild rabbits, killed and then harvested
  • Drop type: chance-based, never guaranteed per rabbit
  • Sibling drops from the same animal: Rabbit Fur and Lucky Rabbit Fur
  • Cannot be sold to vendors or exchanged for Astral Sand

How to track and farm rabbits for Dreamy Rabbit Fur

Rabbits like water. They spawn often along shorelines and river banks, and the map can mark them for you so you are not wandering around looking.

Open the world map with the M key. You will set up tracking here before heading out.
Switch to the Resource Tracking tab, pick Animals, and select Rabbit. Rabbit spawn clusters now light up on the map, and coastal areas tend to show the heaviest concentration.

Head to Broken Delta’s southern coast. The shoreline stretch from approximately (5584, -7169) to (5312, -7437) has around 20 rabbits.
Shoot rabbits from range as you walk the beach. They hide among the rocks at the water’s edge, and a rifle lets you drop them before they bolt.

Walk up to the dead rabbit and press the interact key (F by default) to harvest it. Repeat with every rabbit along the coast until the fur drops.

Since every rabbit is a separate roll, a stretch of coast with 20 rabbits is worth more than a field with three. Clear the whole beach before moving on.

Rabbit farming locations by scenario

Rabbits spawn across several maps, so where you go depends on which scenario you are playing. These spots have reliable clusters.

Broken Delta is a low-level region, which makes it a comfortable place to farm without much threat. The Way of Winter spot sits in Venya Fjord, in Northern Nalcott, and rabbits there drop the same three fur types.

How to confirm you got Dreamy Rabbit Fur

When the drop hits, the harvest pickup lists Dreamy Rabbit Fur x1 alongside your Rabbit Meat. It then sits in your inventory as a Materials item with Quality 4 (legendary). Each piece weighs 0.1 and stacks up to 1,000, so farming a pile of it will not weigh you down. Moving it through Eternaland costs 500.

Dreamy Rabbit Fur armor effects

You spend the fur at the Gear Workbench, where it can be picked as the hide material when crafting armor such as the Rustic Hat, Scout Hood, Raid Helmet, or Agent Helmet. The bonus depends on which slot you put it in.

JacketGain +10 Cold/Frost Resist and +5 Heat/Burn Resist.
PantsGet +10 to Cold/Frost Resist, plus +5 to Heat/Burn Resist.

On top of the slot bonus, fur quality also raises the armor’s base HP and Psi Intensity. Basic fur adds 15 percent and Epic adds 30 percent, while legendary fur like Dreamy Rabbit Fur adds 40 percent, which is why it is worth the time spent clearing beaches of rabbits.
