Quatiica Motorsports Teaser Trailer: The Anti-Gravity Racer Set in 2096

The teaser introduces three race classes, three track environments, and an indie PC racer that does not yet have a release date.

The teaser introduces three race classes, three track environments, and an indie PC racer that does not yet have a release date.

Quatiica Motorsports is an anti-gravity racing game in development for PC. Its first cinematic teaser runs just over a minute. In that time it shows helmeted pilots, thruster-heavy crafts, and three very different tracks: a tube through snowy mountains, a river through a red rock canyon, and a stretch of open sea where the speedometer passes 1,100 km/h. The pitch is printed right on the title card: “We are Racing in the New 90s.”

Quick answer: Quatiica Motorsports is a PC anti-gravity racer from Quatiica Studios. Its release date is to be announced. The teaser is pre-rendered and shows no gameplay. You can wishlist the game on Steam now.

Quatiica Motorsports release date, platform, and status

The game is real and in active development. It is also early. The Steam page lists the release date as “To be announced,” and no user reviews exist yet because nobody can play it. Steam screenshots come from a work-in-progress build captured in the engine. The trailer is a separate, pre-rendered production.

Monetization goalNo microtransactions or battle passes

The studio’s stated goal is a game with no microtransactions, no battle passes, and no additional purchases. That is a goal, not a guarantee written into a store listing, but it is unusually direct for a project this early. Steam lists no confirmed release window, so no next milestone date is currently set. Wishlisting the game is the only way to get a notification when it launches.

What the Quatiica Motorsports cinematic teaser shows

The trailer opens with a disclaimer before anything else, and it is worth reading. The footage is a cinematic production, not gameplay. It was rendered in Blender and Unreal Engine, and the on-screen text states that no generative AI was involved. The first shots are tight close-ups of pilots inside aerodynamic helmets with built-in visors and neck guards, in green, gold, and maroon colorways.

Next comes a studio-lit look at the crafts. These are not floating wedges in the style of older anti-gravity racers. They have clusters of thrusters, visible mechanical parts, and landing struts. The liveries carry real team branding, including team QUATIICA, Q Racing Development, and VORTAXIS ENGINEERING. The studio says its vehicles work differently from those in current anti-gravity games and that it expects the controls to feel new as a result. The detailed hardware on display supports that claim.

The racing sequences cover three environments, and each one matches one of the game’s announced race classes. The cockpit HUD appears in each sequence, with a digital speedometer, a fuel gauge, and status icons for the craft and its thrusters.

The mountain sequence follows a green craft marked Jade01 as it drops through a segmented tube that wraps down the mountainside. The shot switches between a chase camera and the cockpit view. Jade01 matches the game’s Fore Thrusters pilot, which fits the class’s alpine setting.

The canyon run is slower and more technical. A white craft banks along a river lined with palm trees and cliffside terraces, and the cockpit readout reaches 314 km/h. The water sprint is where the numbers jump. A maroon craft skims calm water at dusk past floating platforms, and its speedometer climbs past 1,150 km/h. That is about the speed of sound, which fits the studio’s description of Pulse Sprinters as supersonic above water.

Before the title card, the camera pans across all three locations with three short mottos on screen: “A Brighter Tomorrow,” “Where Racing is Still Celebrated,” and “Built to Change the World.” The trailer closes with a Steam wishlist prompt, a Discord invitation, and the address quatiica.com.

Quatiica Motorsports race classes and pilots

Quatiica Motorsports is built around three kinds of sanctioned racing. Each has its own vehicle type, its own terrain, and a named pilot.

PilotRace classCraftTerrain
Jade – 01Fore ThrustersActias 224Alpine circuits
Onyx – 02Endurance PrototypesScarab 46Desert canyons
Cora – 03Pulse SprintersDytiscus 42Above and below water

The studio describes Fore Thrusters as pure agility, the closest thing to flying. Endurance Prototypes are long-distance machines used to push experimental technology. Pulse Sprinters are amphibious, so races in this class can continue underwater, not just across the surface. The teaser only shows the surface. Onyx was introduced as the newest team Quatiica member in March 2026.

The 2096 setting behind “racing in the new 90s”

The game is set on Earth in 2096. In this world, engineering teams use racing as the most demanding way to test and prove their anti-gravity technology. The pilots have cyborg bodies and race with learning IICA racing systems and fast-reacting thrusters instead of steering wheels and tires. The “new 90s” slogan works as a pun on the setting’s decade. It also nods to the late-’90s anti-gravity racers that this genre has never quite moved past.

The studio plans to tell this story beyond the game. It describes Quatiica Motorsports as an original IP with a video game and other media to follow. It shares lore regularly on social media and Discord, and the original soundtrack is already available on the major streaming services.

Who is building Quatiica Motorsports

Quatiica is a lean project: Tomás Correia is its sole full-time worker, and he also took charge of the teaser’s 3D work, animation, and creative direction. His growing circle of collaborators includes writers, musicians, a sound designer, a graphic designer, and the lead programmer. ruphery provided the trailer’s music, while Axel Bregnon handled its sound design. Kiebsos and Correia took care of the graphic design.

Development is underway in Unreal Engine 5. Vehicle physics, asset importing, and shading are all in progress. The studio says it will share gameplay footage once it is ready. Supporters on Patreon get work-in-progress builds, behind-the-scenes material, and early access. The account has a large following for a game that has not shown gameplay yet, with roughly 87,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 26,000 on X.

Quatiica Motorsports PC system requirements (preliminary)

The minimum specs on Steam target a mid-range gaming PC from a few years ago. The studio labels them preliminary, so they may change before launch.

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1660 6GB or RX 5500 XT 8GB
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 40 GB available space, SSD recommended

Until gameplay is shown, the teaser is a statement of intent rather than a preview of the game. It establishes a world, three ways to race in it, and a visual style that sets it apart from the anti-gravity racers it draws on. The specs above are the closest thing to a concrete commitment about the finished game so far.
