In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Death From Above appears as order 02 within DMZ ORDERS PG 3. Its chapter is CH. UNDERGROUND 2/2, which follows the first set of Underground orders. Bring a Decoy Grenade and a scoped rifle, and head for an area with plenty of drones. The order has three objectives; The Citadel is the setting for two.

In this chapter, Death From Above appears alongside two other orders. Its objectives are listed as: “Trick a Drone With a Decoy Grenade”, “Destroy 3 Drones”, and “Loot a Drone Motherboard From a Destroyed Drone”. DMZ ORDERS PG 3 also lists the Flash Grenade order under CH. HUMAN INTEL 2/2.

The motherboard has to come from a destroyed drone, so that objective comes after you’ve shot one down. You can clear the decoy objective first.
Where to find Decoy Grenades in MW4 DMZ
The Decoy Grenade is a COMMON TACTICAL item. Its card describes it as a “Counter-intel grenade that simulates gunfire, movement, and radar signatures to confuse the enemy.” One decoy is enough for the order. One spot on the map has three of them packed close together, so you can carry spares.
You can also print one before you deploy. Once the Decoy Grenade recipe is unlocked at the 3D Printer, you find it under Tacticals, and one costs 10 Synthetics and 10 Chemicals. Pick Print to Operator to carry it into your next deployment, or Print to Stash to keep it for later.
Before leaving, check the ammo crates on the upper platform; a Military Bag rests on top.
Trick a Drone With a Decoy Grenade at The Citadel
One place this works is The Citadel East Wing. Toss a Decoy Grenade into an enemy drone’s flight area. Drones circle above this location. The threat rating is CRITICAL, which means you should expect resistance. Here is how the trick goes:
Destroy 3 Drones near The Citadel SAM site
Stay at The Citadel and work your way toward the SAM site. Drones patrol overhead while you’re near it, and the “Capture SAM Site” side op shows up on the left side of the HUD.
A scoped rifle makes this easier: aim up and shoot each drone out of the air. A sniper rifle such as the KG-7 Vulcan brings one down with a hit, and each kill shows “DESTROYED DRONE” with 25 XP.
Soldiers on the ground keep shooting while you aim at the sky, so line up your shots from cover.
The objective shows an x/3 counter under Destroy 3 Drones. It reads 3/3 once the third drone goes down.
Loot the Drone Motherboard and finish the order
After a drone is destroyed, it falls to the ground. Reach its landing point and collect the Drone Motherboard. The squad feed confirms the pickup with a “Drone Motherboard” line.
After completing the last objective, visit the Orders page and confirm that all three Death From Above entries have check marks: Trick a Drone With a Decoy Grenade, Destroy 3 Drones 3/3, and Loot a Drone Motherboard From a Destroyed Drone.
