Quick answer: Wolfjaw is the reward for defeating Wu Xuan, the Fallen General, on Pangzhen’s backstreet. His fight is about 81 m from the Zhang’s Hideout (Pangzhen) bell, and the map below shows the spot.
Phantom Blade Zero, S-GAME’s action game that launched on PC through Steam on October 29th, 2026, gives you secondary weapons called Phantom Edges. You use them with the Phantom Edges button, and they cost Remnant Spark. Wolfjaw is one of them, a spiked mace built around draining life from enemies. It sits alongside the rest of the game’s arsenal in the full list of weapons and Phantom Edges.
Where to find Wolfjaw
- Region: Pangzhen
- Bell location: Zhang’s Hideout (Pangzhen).
- How you get it: defeat Wu Xuan, the Fallen General
Rest at the Zhang’s Hideout (Pangzhen) bell first. Wu Xuan fights you on Pangzhen’s backstreet (Wu Xuan boss fight guide), about 81 m from that bell, and the Backstreet Archway bell is about 89 m away. Wolfjaw is yours once he falls, together with 24,000 Remnant Dust. He is also one of the two bosses tied to the boat repair quest. The Pangzhen interactive map marks the spot and every bell in the region. The bell carries Zhang’s name, and Quick Hand Zhang has his own page.

Add to Google Preferences →Wolfjaw item card: Description and lore
Wolfjaw’s description reads:
“A fallen general’s spiked mace, forged for the battlefield. Swung like a blood-crazed wolf, it drains life from enemies on hit.”
Its lore line names the weapon’s former owner:
“A spiked mace once wielded by Fallen General Wu Xuan.”
The card files Wolfjaw under Destructive, with Damage 261 and Guard Break 280 at level 1. It adds: “Hold [Ctrl] to swing Wolfjaw at enemies, draining life to restore HP. Has no effect on Puppets, Golden Bodies, or Phantom Bodies. Consumes 1” Remnant Spark.

Wolfjaw arts
Wolfjaw has five arts, with Ghostfire Wreath serving as its Tempering art. The other arts become available as the Phantom Edge gains weapon levels through the forge and weapon upgrade system. The Advanced view of the card (T) lists them with their unlock levels.

| Art | Unlocks | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Ghostfire Wreath | Tempering art | “Attacks generate ghostfire, causing enemies to burn with Chaotic Flame and continuously lose HP and Sha-Chi.” |
| Bloodlust | Weapon level 5 | “Drains more HP from Guard-Broken enemies. Has no effect on Puppets, Golden Bodies, or Phantom Bodies.” |
| Blood Feast | Weapon level 10 | “Lv. 1: Slightly increases the amount of HP drained by attacks. Lv. 2: Moderately increases the amount of HP drained by attacks. Lv. 3: Greatly increases the amount of HP drained by attacks.” |
| Full-Power Strike | Weapon level 15 | “Press [Phantom Edges] at the end of a Wolfjaw attack to unleash Full-Power Strike straight ahead without consuming Remnant Spark” |
| Heart-Piercing Wolf | Weapon level 25 | “Hold [Block]+[Phantom Edges] to thrust Wolfjaw forward in a high-speed spin, pulverizing enemies in its path. Enemies hit take increased damage for 12 seconds.” |
What Wolfjaw is good for
The item card says Wolfjaw drains life from enemies on hit. Bloodlust, at weapon level 5, drains more HP from Guard-Broken enemies (it has no effect on Puppets, Golden Bodies or Phantom Bodies), and Blood Feast at weapon level 10 increases the HP drained by attacks.
The weapon’s drain comes with added offensive pressure. Ghostfire Wreath, its Tempering art, imbues attacks with Chaotic Flame and burns enemies. At weapon level 15, Full-Power Strike lets a Wolfjaw attack end with a strike that costs no Remnant Spark. Compare it with other choices in the early-game weapon recommendations.
