Quick answer: Phantom Blade Zero has 27 main Weapons plus the Phantom Edges, which are secondary Sha-Chi weapons. Most are picked up in the world across the regions, and three Weapons come from Tempering Sanguine-family blades.
Soul fights with main Weapons and Phantom Edges. Press the Phantom Edges button (see controls) to launch a Phantom Edge, consuming Remnant Spark. A Weapon’s arts include a Power Surge art costing 1 Sha-Chi Essence, an effect activated by switching to it or parrying a Blue-flash Attack, and a Tempering art; more arts become available at weapon levels 5, 10, 15 and 25. Phantom Edges also unlock arts at those levels, and some provide a field ability to open paths while unequipped. The location listed for each item names its region and the nearest bell to its pickup point.

Tempering Sanguine, Sanguine Reach and Sanguine Twin into new Weapons
For most Weapons, Tempering unlocks an extra art. For the Sanguine family, Tempering replaces the blade with a different Weapon entirely. The achievements “A Tempered Ten” and “Phantom Arsenal” ask you to Temper 10 Weapons and 10 Phantom Edges.

- Sanguine Tempers into Infernal Rouge, the heirloom weapon of the Bastion of Mó.
- Sanguine Reach Tempers into Blazing Edge.
- Sanguine Twin Tempers into Shadowless Edge.
What each Phantom Blade Zero Weapon does
Every Power Surge below costs 1 Sha-Chi Essence.
Sanguine family
Sanguine is Soul’s personal crimson weapon. Though sword-shaped, it lands like a heavy blade. Its Power Surge, Sweeping Blade, unleashes a rapid succession of cuts.

Infernal Rouge carries Bloodline Rebirth. When you take fatal damage, it fully restores HP and raises Attack, but HP then drains and can’t be healed. The effect ends once 50% of Max HP has drained away. It can’t trigger again until you touch a Bell or respawn, and it fires before any other revival effect. Its Power Surge, Bloodline Awakening, turns Soul into Phantom Soul for 10 seconds, with much higher Attack and Defense and blade waves on every attack. Pressing Power Surge during Awakening spends another Sha-Chi Essence on Phantom Blade, which unleashes a storm of blade waves and ends the state.
Sanguine Reach is Forge’s two-handed, extended take on Sanguine. Its broad arcs are suited to groups of foes. Its Power Surge is Longblade Chain Slash.
Blazing Edge builds Burning Energy each time a Heavy Attack lands. When the meter is full, the blade burns for 15 seconds and every attack adds Burn damage. Block plus Heavy Attack spends Sha-Chi on a flame wave that Ignites enemies. You hold its Power Surge, Sunderflame, to charge it up to 3 times. Releasing it Ignites enemies and deals massive damage to Frozen targets.
Sanguine Twin consists of two short blades forged from Sanguine’s material, making it the quickest weapon in the set. Its Power Surge is Dual-Blade Flurry.
Wooden Sanguine is the wooden weapon Soul practiced with when he was young. Its Power Surge, Wooden Blade Flurry, delivers a rapid sequence of cuts.
Heavy and shield-breaking Weapons
Armybreaker is a broad polearm that excels at breaking shields. Switching to it or deflecting a Blue-flash Attack makes Soul rush a short distance forward. Its Power Surge, Formation Breaking Art, removes a substantial portion of an enemy’s Sha-Chi. Tempering strengthens rush attacks and prevents interruption; the strike that follows a rush also deals increased damage.
Bonesaw features jagged teeth and excels at breaking shields. With it equipped, ordinary blocks consume extra Sha-Chi, but the attack immediately following a parry drains more Sha-Chi. Savage Finale inflicts bonus damage on Guard-Broken foes. Tempering increases Bloodsaw Gauge buildup against bosses and accelerates Bleed buildup while Bloodsaw is active.
Juggernaut earns 1 stack of Red Edge per parry. At maximum stacks the blade turns red, and Heavy Attack spends every stack on Crimson Wheel Slash. Its Power Surge applies a Bandit-Slayer Mark, so marked enemies take more damage and more Sha-Chi Depletion. After Tempering, Crimson Wheel Slash keeps your Red Edge stacks when it hits a marked enemy.
Outlaw Warblade trades HP for damage. Following any Heavy Attack with a Light Attack performs a retreating slash that drains life, and it restores more if you still have Recoverable HP. Bloodthirst Frenzy pins enemies down and drains their blood. Tempering raises damage by up to 25% the longer you hold Recoverable HP. None of the life drain works on Puppets, Golden Bodies or Phantom Bodies.
Scarlet Wraithblade leaves Red Spider Lilies on the ground after Heavy Attack combos. Enemies inside the flowers move slower and lose Sha-Chi, and the lilies explode after 3 seconds. Rouge Bloomstorm makes them bloom across the ground. Tempering adds a Red Flower Gauge that explodes when it fills, and it lowers Sha-Chi Consumption and boosts healing for you and allies who stand in the lilies.
Tianxuan Bronze Sword reduces the Sha-Chi cost of blocking but removes the ability to parry. Greatness Without Form sends foes flying from medium or long distance. After Tempering, you can continue blocking while Guard-Broken by spending a small amount of HP.
Crescent Blade spins when you hold Block and Heavy Attack, using Sha-Chi as it charges. At maximum charge, it grants Qinglong Form for 30 seconds. While the form lasts, Heavy Attack triggers Qinglong Cleave, instantly killing weaker enemies and ending the form. Its Power Surge, Warm-Wine Qinglong Cleave, also instantly kills weaker enemies and grants Qinglong Form. Tempering activates Qinglong Form either when you switch to Crescent Blade or when you parry a Blue-flash Attack.
Status and elemental Weapons
Jagged Steel inflicts Bleeding and fills the Bleed Gauge, which triggers Blood Loss when it’s full. Jagged Steel Rampage fills that gauge fast. Tempering keeps the gauge building even when the enemy blocks. Bleed does nothing to Puppets, Golden Bodies or Phantom Bodies.
Whiteshadow inflicts Chill and builds the Frozen Gauge. White Shadow’s Frosthowl guarantees that every enemy it hits ends up Frozen. Tempering keeps Frozen buildup going through blocks.
Hold Block and Heavy Attack to cycle Freezing Chaos through three forms. Steel delivers the greatest Attack and Guard Break. Chaos inflicts Chaotic Flame, which may Ignite enemies and steadily depletes their HP and Sha-Chi. Frost applies Chill, which can lead to Frozen. Tempering increases damage and Sha-Chi Depletion for 5 seconds after each shift.
Fiend Saws build Fiend-Aura Erosion with every hit, and a full gauge erupts and eats into the enemy’s HP. The Fiend Form Power Surge lasts 10 seconds and makes all attacks unblockable. Pressing Power Surge again inside the form adds a follow-up that costs no Essence. Tempering makes all attacks on an enemy unblockable for 3 seconds after an eruption.
The Lady’s Fan stores up to 2 Arcane Sigils (Thunder, Fire or Ice), depending on where the Heavy Attack falls in a Light Attack string. Block plus Heavy Attack spends the stored sigils on a Sigil Burst whose effect depends on the pair. Fire Ice raises damage and Sha-Chi Depletion for 30 seconds, and Thunder Ice calls lightning down on anyone you Parry for 10 seconds. Boundless Blight stores 2 random sigils. Tempering strengthens every Sigil Burst and doubles the duration of the lasting ones.
Sundering Dual Axes build the Baleful Aura Gauge with Light Attack hits. A full gauge activates Baleful Aura for 20 seconds, raising damage and Sha-Chi Depletion and letting Heavy Attack combos hurl the axes into enemies. Tempering adds a second tier to the gauge. Filling it strengthens your attacks and refreshes the Aura, which then ends after 16 seconds.
Technical and ranged Weapons
Aureate is Zuo Shang’s pure-gold longsword. Switching to it, or parrying a Blue-flash Attack, summons a giant Golden Lóng Sword. A Heavy Attack hit inside a combo summons a Living Sword that strikes after 3 seconds. If that strike isn’t blocked, the sword stays embedded for 20 seconds, and 5 embedded swords trigger a Sword Energy Burst. Tempering powers up the next Grand Design phantom weapon after each Burst.
Baishan Stormswords enter Baishan’s Blessing for 20 seconds when the Wind Sword and Thunder Sword are both active, which raises Attack. During the Blessing, Block plus Heavy Attack unleashes Lightning Storm and ends both swords early. Tempering makes Lightning Storm pull enemies in and build both the Wind and Thunder Gauges.
Parting Hooks take a Guard Stance with Block plus Heavy Attack that counters melee attacks. The stronger the incoming hit, the stronger the counter, though it can’t counter Black-Flash Attacks. Tempering makes a Blue-flash parry with Block trigger the Counter automatically.
Soft Snake Sword holds Guard Stance at no Sha-Chi cost. In that stance, dodges become sidesteps, and a Perfect Dodge lets you chain several dodges together. Pressing Block plus Heavy Attack just before a hit deflects the hit back at the enemy. Wild Serpent Dance gets stronger with the same precise timing. Tempering adds Final Gambit, where you hold Heavy Attack to burn all of your Sha-Chi on a flurry that scales with the amount spent.
Seamless Death is a pair of ring blades that can be thrown. Reaping Rings backs Soul away from the enemy and sends tracking Flying Rings at the locked-on target. Tempering increases the number of rings every move throws.
The Fanatic’s Broken Blade uses Block plus Heavy Attack to Drink. Drinking restores Sha-Chi and makes Soul Tipsy, which turns attacks into Flying Sword strikes that lose damage over distance. Soul sobers up after 15 seconds. Using Power Surge while Tipsy makes Soul Drunk for 20 seconds. While Drunk, mobility is heavily restricted and Block is disabled, but Soul dodges automatically and Flying Sword damage climbs sharply. Tempering removes the distance falloff.
White Serpent & Crimson Viper pairs a short blade with a long one. Block plus Heavy Attack sends Crimson Viper orbiting Soul while it drains Sha-Chi, and the blade returns on its own when Sha-Chi runs short. Execute performs a ranged execution on a distant enemy with low HP. Tempering summons Hundred-Knot Serpents on recall, and more of them the longer the blade was away.
Wild Oriole Sword enters Oriole Song for 10 seconds when you spend Sha-Chi with Block plus Heavy Attack. During Oriole Song, every Heavy Attack fires a blade wave. Tempering adds Mu Tianmiao’s sword to Heavy Attack combos, and its blade waves get stronger during Oriole Song.
Phantom Edges locations
Puppet Testing Grounds also holds Heartrend Pipa. The Outpost has Feather Bow, and The Lady’s Shrine has Flying Guillotine next to Seamless Death. Zhang’s Hideout in Pangzhen holds both Goldblaze and Wolfjaw.

What each Phantom Edge does
Melee and heavy Phantom Edges
Bashpole is a long-shafted hammer that excels at breaking shields. Tempering grants Whirling Advance, which sends Soul spinning forward when he uses Block with Phantom Edges.
Dread Axe is a great axe that excels at breaking shields. Tempering boosts its charge speed by 30%.
Bastion is a shield you raise by holding Phantom Edges. Let go before your Sha-Chi runs out and Soul slams it down for Reprisal Shockwave, which gets stronger the more damage the shield absorbed. Tempering adds one more shockwave.
Iron Gauntlets build Fist Focus with every hit, raising the main Weapon’s damage for 8 seconds. Tempering makes each Phantom Edges attack send a Fist Wave forward.
Wolfjaw is a spiked mace that drains life on hit. Tempering adds ghostfire, which burns enemies with Chaotic Flame and keeps draining their HP and Sha-Chi.
Thunder Spear channels lightning into its strikes. Tempering chains that lightning to up to two nearby enemies.
Ink Cut leaves a spinning Radiant Wheel behind when you end the Phantom Edges combo after the second attack, and the wheel detonates after 5 seconds. Tempering lets you cast a second wheel while the first is still active.
War Wagon can barrel through enemy ranks or carry you quickly across the land. Tempering increases damage by up to 50%, depending on the distance traveled; each hit resets the distance.
Ranged Phantom Edges
Feather Bow is a strong bow for range work. Tempering adds Precision Shot, where releasing Phantom Edges while Soul’s hand glows mid-charge greatly increases damage and Sha-Chi depletion.
One-eyed Bow fires death rays. Tempering adds Rapid Shot, which charges up to 3 stages with an extra arrow per stage and costs 1 Remnant Spark.
Goldblaze is a gold firelock. Tempering adds Dodge Counter. Pressing Block plus Phantom Edges just before a hit lands performs a Perfect Dodge counterattack with much higher damage.
Flying Dagger builds Poison with every hit. Tempering throws more daggers and strengthens the Poison.
Tiger Cannon ignites explosive objects and shatters Frozen enemies, though not elites. Tempering adds Full Blast, where Block plus Phantom Edges launches the cannon itself for massive damage at a cost of 2 Remnant Spark.
Flying Guillotine performs a ranged execution with Phantom Edges on any enemy that can be executed. Tempering adds Soul-Siphoning Hunt, a spinning saw wheel swung forward with Block plus Phantom Edges for 1 Remnant Spark.
Hunter’s Chain Sickle attacks from medium to long distance. Tempering makes the chain deal as much damage as the blade, while blade strikes consume more Sha-Chi and add Bleed toward Blood Loss. This Bleed has no effect on Puppets, Golden Bodies, or Phantom Bodies.
Heartrend Pipa fires Sonic Blades. Blue blades deal damage and Sha-Chi Depletion. Red blades hit harder and ignore all Damage Reduction, and both colors are unblockable. Tempering turns it into the Illusory Pipa, which dispels Phantom Barriers and controls weaker enemies.
Fire and water Phantom Edges
Fire Meteor sets enemies alight with Phosphor Flame, a green fire that deals damage and lowers their Attack. Tempering strengthens every move and greatly raises damage and Sha-Chi Depletion against enemies burning with Phosphor Flame.
Flaming Mane breathes fire. Tempering turns the breath into Chaotic Flame, so ignited enemies keep losing HP and Sha-Chi.
Every attack from You Loong’s Deluge applies Wet, increasing enemies’ susceptibility to Lightning and Ice and boosting damage against foes using Fire weapons. It also extinguishes ground flames. Tempering produces scalding steam when the weapon hits burning enemies, harming anyone nearby.
Loong Trident deals more damage to enemies at full HP, and every hit inflicts Wet. When an enemy is hiding in water or snow, a Phantom Edges prompt appears over them, and pressing it forces them out for 1 Remnant Spark. Tempering adds Precision Throw, which works on the same glowing-hand timing as Feather Bow.
Summon and support Phantom Edges
Kuye Temple Prayer Beads summon 3 Bronze Men. Tempering upgrades them to a Fist Gold Man, a Staff Gold Man and a Blade Gold Man, and they keep every upgrade the Bronze Men had.
Swordsman’s Summon calls a Swordsman Captain and two Swordsman Disciples. Tempering replaces them with a Purple-robed Twinblade Swordsman and Baishan Sword Guardians, who inherit all swordsman upgrades.
Puppeteer’s Bell commands Puppets. Tempering turns it into the Abyssal Bell, which can summon a 3rd powerful Puppet.
Inanis’ Radiant Fan creates a sanctuary field. Tempering adds Nirvana. If you take fatal damage inside the field, Soul revives once with 30% HP. It resets when you touch a Bell or respawn, and any other available revival effect triggers before it.
