How to Get Cui’s Red Ribbon in Phantom Blade Zero

Where to find Cui

Cui sits in a small wooden room hung with red threads, surrounded by candles, puppet parts and coils of red thread. The room is up the stone steps on the slope beside the arena where you fight YUZAN, NO. 3 MUSICIAN PUPPET. It is about 35 m from the crane statue in the middle of the arena. Before you speak to her, she is labeled “Little Girl Puppet”. After you speak to her, the label changes to “Cui.”

How to get Cui’s Red Ribbon

Go down into the caves below the Heartless Remnants well and reach Yuzan’s arena. Cui is available after the Yuzan fight. Once the fight is over, the crane statue in the arena works as the Puppet Testing Grounds bell.

Take the stone stairway on the incline beside the arena, then go inside the room filled with red thread. As you approach, Cui mutters that she misses her mother, father, and grandfather.

Stand next to her and press E when the prompt appears. Soul comments on how inhuman the Herald’s schemes are. Cui then explains that she wants her parents and her grandpa back. She says her mom and dad joined the Mandate, and that her grandpa, the village chief, is gone.

Let the conversation finish. Cui holds something out to Soul and says it is for her grandpa. Soul accepts it.

An item card appears, and you press Space to confirm it. You know the ribbon is yours when that card appears.
