How to Increase Max HP in Phantom Blade Zero

Memory Flower sets and the Jewel's Knot accessory raise your health cap, and healing items and Medicine upgrades do not.

Quick answer: Collect Memory Flowers. Finishing a flower set raises max HP, and each card shows its bonus. Accessories such as Jewel’s Knot add more on top.

Memory Flowers raise max HP

Memory Flowers are glowing blue flowers in the world. Each one belongs to a set, and each set’s card shows the line “Collect all Memory Remnants to increase HP” along with its own flower count and HP bonus.

Look for glowing blue flowers as you explore. They stand out against the scenery.
Walk up to a flower and press E to collect it. The set’s card then shows how many flowers you have and the HP bonus that set grants.

Keep collecting the rest of that set’s flowers. When the set is complete, its card changes to read All Memory Remnants collected.

Set sizes and bonuses differ from card to card. The Inanis card shows +5%. The Villagers of Lu card shows (1/4) with +7%. The Firefly and Leng Tu cards show (1/6) with +10%. Bitter Kin’s two petals show +5%. Yan’er’s six flowers are one full set.

Accessories that add HP

The Jewel’s Knot card reads “Increases HP by 15%.” You only get that bonus while the accessory is equipped.

What does not raise max HP

Two systems can look like HP upgrades, but they leave the cap alone:

  • Longevity Tonic refills your health bar without making it longer. Its card reads “Restores all HP.”
  • Medicine upgrades give you more uses and stronger healing, but your max HP stays the same.

Healing and max HP are tracked separately. To make the health bar itself bigger, complete Memory Flower sets and equip Jewel’s Knot.
