Quick answer: The Sleeping Flower-Masked Weaver lies about 64 m from the Well of the Three Puppets bell in the Village of Lu. The puppet holding her soul is “Village Auntie”. Defeat her, return to the weaver’s body, and the reward is Mother’s Talisman.
Where the quest starts
Use the Well of the Three Puppets bell in the Village of Lu as your reference point. The Sleeping Flower-Masked Weaver lies about 64 m from it. The village holds plenty of other things to pick up on the way, and its full set of Village of Lu collectibles is worth tracking while you’re there.
Inspect the weaver to read her description. The game describes her this way:
“The weaver lies still, her hands folded over her abdomen, as if guarding something. She is no longer breathing.”
All objectives
The tale has two objectives, and they appear in this order:
- “Find the puppet containing the weaver’s soul”
- “Return to the weaver’s body”
The puppet is “Village Auntie”, a tall puppet that births wooden children. Look for her around the Covered Bridge bell in the Village of Lu. Defeat her, then head back to the Sleeping Flower-Masked Weaver where she lies.
Reward
Finishing A Dream of Motherhood gives you Mother’s Talisman. Its effect reads “Restores 10% HP when Guard-Broken.” That puts it with the rest of Phantom Blade Zero’s accessories.
