In Steal Eggs from Tsunami, trails make treadmill training build speed faster. Each trail looks like a glowing ribbon behind your avatar and multiplies the speed earned with every training step. A stronger trail gives you more speed per step, letting you reach deeper zones with better eggs.

Quick answer: Buy a trail in the Trail Shop with cash or Robux, then press Equip. Its multiplier applies to your treadmill’s base gain per step. On the +30/step treadmill, the x4 Red Trail gives +120 per step.

Steal Eggs from Tsunami trail prices and speed multipliers

The Trail Shop sorts trails by rarity, and each step up the list raises the speed multiplier. The two entry tiers are the Green Trail (Uncommon, x2 Speed) and the Cyan Trail (Rare, x2.5 Speed). From Epic upward, the price climbs steeply. Every trail can be bought with in-game cash or with Robux.

TrailRarityMultiplierPrice
Purple TrailEpicx3 Speed$1M or 19 Robux
Golden TrailLegendaryx3.5 Speed$5M or 39 Robux
Red TrailMythicx4 Speed$15M or 79 Robux
Galaxy TrailCosmicx5 Speed$40M or 119 Robux

The jumps are uneven. Purple to Golden costs four times as much for an extra half multiplier. Golden to Red costs three times as much for another half. That makes the Purple Trail a sensible first cash purchase, since it is the cheapest x3. After that, saving straight through Golden for the $15M Red Trail gets you to x4 without spending money on a tier you will replace soon.

How trail multipliers change treadmill gains

Trails don’t add a flat bonus. The equipped trail’s multiplier is applied to the treadmill’s base gain per step, so the stronger your treadmill, the more a trail is worth. The math is base per step times the trail multiplier.

Your treadmill’s base gain improves when you upgrade your pen. The Level 3 pen raises the treadmill to +12/step. The Level 4 pen turns it into the yellow treadmill, with +30/step as its base.

On that yellow treadmill, the difference between trails is easy to see.

While you train, each step pops a gain number over the track. That number is the quickest way to check your multiplier is working.

Other speed sources stack on top of training. When you log in, a “DONT LEAVE!” pop-up can offer a free x1.5 Speed boost that lasts 10 minutes. Press Claim Reward to activate it, and do your treadmill sessions while it is running.

The Pet Index also hands out speed. Each new pet you hatch can be claimed in the Index for cash and a lump of speed. The Rare Cat gives $5.4K and +620 Speed, while the Uncommon Snail gives $1.44K and +2.5K Speed. Open the Index from the button on the left of the screen after every new hatch.

Earning the cash for a trail

Trail money comes from pets. Every pet in your pen generates cash per second, and rarer pets earn far more. A Rare Parrot makes $92/s. A Legendary Cockatrice makes $12,039/s, a Legendary Bull $20,362/s, and a Mythic Saber Tooth Tiger $32,454/s. One strong hatch can turn a $15M goal from a long grind into a short wait on the treadmill.

Once an egg hatches, equip the pet so it starts earning. A “Successfully equipped” message confirms it has taken a slot in your pen. Cash also builds while you are away, and the game offers an offline claim when you return.

Pen upgrades do double duty. They add pet slots, which means more income, and they raise the treadmill’s base gain, which makes your trail multiply a bigger number. Level 3 costs $250K and gives 10 slots. Level 4 gives 11 slots and the +30/step yellow treadmill. The next sign offers Pen Level 5 for $5M, and Treadmill Level 5 is available for $8M or 149 Robux.

Stealing eggs from the zones

New pets come from eggs you steal out in the map. The zones run in a line away from the safe zone, and each one is harder than the last.

  • Forest
  • Lake
  • Desert
  • Jungle
  • Snow
  • Volcano

This is where trails pay off a second time. More speed from training gets you through the early zones quickly, so a run deep into Snow or Volcano becomes realistic. A Basic Egg from the Snow zone can hatch into the Mythic Saber Tooth Tiger, and Volcano eggs are high tier.

Grabbing an egg shows “You stole an EGG!” and a “RUN!!” warning. From there you have to carry it back to your pen in the safe zone without getting hit by hazards. Other players are out there too, and some carry weapons like a baseball bat.

Bear traps sit along the route, and stepping in one shows “TRAPPED” and holds you in place for 8 seconds, which is plenty of time to lose an egg.

How to buy and equip a trail in Steal Eggs from Tsunami

You need enough cash for the trail you want, or the Robux equivalent. The cash price is the left button on each trail card and the Robux price sits beside it.

Open the Trail Shop. The menu lists every trail as a card with its rarity, multiplier and both prices, from the Green Trail up to the Galaxy Trail.
Scroll to the trail you want and check its multiplier against the one you already have equipped. Only buy it if the number is higher, since a lower multiplier gives you nothing.

Press the cash button to pay with in-game money, or the Robux button to pay with Robux. The card switches to show an Equip button once the trail is yours.
Press Equip on the new trail. The previously equipped trail’s card switches back from Unequip to Equip.
Head to the treadmill and train. Each step now pays out the base gain times your new multiplier.

Confirming the trail is active

Three things confirm it worked. A message such as “Equipped Red Trail!” or “Equipped Purple Trail!” appears right after you press Equip. A colored ribbon matching the trail now follows your avatar as it moves. And the per-step number on the treadmill jumps, from +90 to +120 on the yellow treadmill when moving from Purple to Red.

If the number on the track hasn’t moved, open the Trail Shop again and check which card reads Unequip. That is the trail currently applied to your training, and the speed it builds stays with you on every egg run that follows.
