Jonesy survived the Chapter 7 Season 2 live event, where he was shot and pushed off a cliff, and you can visit him in Fortnite Runners to claim a one-time burst of XP. He is alive but badly hurt, so he is not walking the map or handing out quests yet. Instead, he is recovering in a fixed spot, and interacting with him triggers a hidden reward.
Quick answer: Drop at Shaken Sanctuary, go to the south wing of the main building, find Rival Hope, and look directly behind her for Jonesy inside a healing tank. Press the interact key (F on PC, X on PlayStation, Square on Xbox controllers mapped as such) to “Wish For a Speedy Recovery” and receive 10,000 XP.
Where to find Jonesy in Fortnite Runners
Jonesy is at Shaken Sanctuary, the named location southeast of the center of the island. Team Foundation has pulled back here after their defeat, and the spot now includes new buildings and a hidden bunker area where Jonesy is being treated. He stays in one place the entire time, so there is no random spawn to track down.

Visiting Jonesy completes a hidden quest worth 10,000 XP. It pays out once per account, not every match, so there is no value in returning to repeat the interaction. You will see the standard quest completion and XP notification on screen when it registers, which is your confirmation that the reward landed.
If the interaction does not trigger, make sure you are inside the south wing of the main building and standing directly at the healing tank behind Rival Hope, not at another NPC. The prompt only appears at Jonesy’s tank.
Is Jonesy dead in Fortnite?
No. Agent Jones is alive. During the Shattered event he was shot and then pushed off a cliff, but he held on long enough for Hope to reach him and place him in a healing tank. Unlike the Looper, Jonesy’s death would be permanent, so he is not someone who simply drops back in from the Battle Bus.
Note: While you visit the tank, Geno, still disguised as The Visitor, is present in the same room alongside the rest of the squad, which keeps the story tension high even as Jonesy recovers. Given how central he is to the Fortnite narrative, he is expected to recover and return as a roaming NPC later in the season.

Because Rival Hope and other characters such as The Visitor are stationed in the same area, you can fold the Jonesy visit into a wider service run at Shaken Sanctuary, spending gold or picking up help before you push the rest of the match.
