Embark ID sits at the center of Embark Studios’ games. It keeps your progress and purchases synced across platforms, lets friends find you, and is required for support and cross-progression in THE FINALS. There are two separate but related things people look for:
- the Embark ID account login page, and
- their personal Embark ID username (for example, when adding friends).
How to open the Embark ID login page
The Embark ID sign-in lives on Embark’s own account portal, not on Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox dashboards.
Once you’re in, you can manage your Embark account details, see linked platforms, and access support flows that require authentication.

You don’t have to pre-register a separate username and password. THE FINALS handles Embark ID creation directly.
An Embark ID:
- saves your contestants, cosmetics, and overall progression,
- enables cross-progression between Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and
- allows cross-platform play and friend invites across those systems.
How to find your Embark ID in THE FINALS
In THE FINALS, your Embark ID is your public identifier for friends and parties.
Displayname#1234.You can also view friends’ Embark IDs from the Social menu by selecting their names. THE FINALS uses a universal Friends list based on Embark IDs alongside a platform-specific friends list.
How to find your Embark ID on the Embark Platform
If you’re on a browser and already logged into Embark’s site, you can see your ID there as well.
How to view and manage linked platforms on Embark ID
Your Embark ID can connect to one account per major platform. That connection is what makes cross-progression and shared cosmetics work.
Supported platforms include:
- Steam
- PlayStation
- Xbox
- Epic Games
- Discord
- Twitch
On this screen you can choose to link or unlink each platform.
Important: You cannot unlink the platform you’re currently logged in with. To remove that one, first sign in through a different linked platform and then return to Connected Platforms.
What happens if you unlink everything
Removing all linked game and third‑party accounts from Embark ID has permanent consequences.
If you unlink every platform:
- your Embark ID is permanently deleted, and
- you lose all Multibucks, cosmetics (purchased and earned), Battle Pass progress, and account progression associated with that ID.
This cannot be reversed, so only clear all links if you are certain you no longer need the account or any of its data.
Quick recap of what Embark ID is used for
Embark ID is more than a login. It is required to:
- link your progress and purchases across Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S,
- enable cross-platform play with friends on different systems,
- let other players find you using your Embark ID display name, and
- submit support and account tickets tied to your game data.
When in doubt, start in THE FINALS’ Social menu to see your Embark ID, and use the Embark ID portal when you need to manage logins and connected platforms.
