Summoning strong warriors only gets you halfway in Anime Warriors 3. The weapon you swing and the accessory you wear decide how fast you clear Story, how deep you push into Raids, and whether you survive Gauntlet and Secret Bosses. As of Update 2.5, the rankings have shifted, and a few old favorites have fallen off hard.
Quick answer: The two best weapons right now are Thousand Blossoms and Paths of Pain Style. Pair them with Rinnegon, Shun’s Cloak, or Hebi for raw DPS, and grab Cruel Sun for an all-rounder build that also helps you farm.
Anime Warriors 3 weapons tier list (Update 2.5)
Weapons are tied to world progression, so each new island usually drops something stronger than the last. But a handful stand out because of high base damage, a strong Ultimate, or synergy with the right accessory. Here is how they stack up across all modes.
| Tier | Weapons |
|---|---|
| S | Thousand Blossoms, Paths of Pain Style |
| A | Scorching Flames, Elf Mage Style, Golden Hook Style |
| B | Heavenly Flower Swords, Thunder Axe, Thunder God Staff, Shark Blade |
| C | Sosoke Style, Ultimate Gohun Style, Freeze Style |
| D | Shark Empress, Ice Cream Divine Axe |
S tier weapons
These two are the meta for every game mode thanks to their high base damage and excellent accessory pairings. If you can get either, prioritize it over everything else.
| Weapon | Why it ranks here |
|---|---|
| Thousand Blossoms | Highest base damage in the game, with a Bleed Ultimate that deals damage over time. Excellent against Story and Secret Bosses and in Gauntlet. Pairs best with the Head Captain Outfit. |
| Paths of Pain Style | One of the most consistent weapons across Story, Raids, and Secret Bosses. Its AoE skill makes it the top Gauntlet pick, and it becomes overpowered with the Rinnegon accessory. |
A tier weapons
| Weapon | Why it ranks here |
|---|---|
| Scorching Flames | Second-highest base damage in the game with a damage-over-time Ultimate. Strong in every mode, especially with Ultimate-boosting accessories. |
| Elf Mage Style | High base and ability damage make it great for Story, Raids, and Secret Bosses. The catch is a low drop chance and a steep cost in the Journey’s End Shop. |
| Golden Hook Style | One of the few weapons with both an Ability and an Ultimate. It can match top Mythicals under the right Weather and accessories, but its base attack damage is low. |
B tier weapons
This is where Thunder God Staff now sits. It was once one of the best weapons in the game, but a nerf dropped it down. It still performs well in Raids and pairs strongly with Thunder Drums.
| Weapon | Why it ranks here |
|---|---|
| Heavenly Flower Swords | The best Legendary weapon, easy to get from the Soul District Raid, and it matches some Mythical base damage. It has no ability, so it feels weak in Raids and Gauntlet. |
| Thunder Axe | A solid mid-game weapon with decent base and skill damage, and strong against Story bosses. Slightly hard to obtain. |
| Thunder God Staff | High base and ability damage, very good in Raids, and excellent with Thunder Drums, but the recent nerf knocked it out of the top tiers. |
| Shark Blade | A Mythical that’s easier to get than most, with great base damage when paired with Rinnegon or Shun’s Cloak. You’ll need to replace it for late-game content. |
C and D tier weapons
The C tier weapons are world-locked starters. Sosoke Style is decent for Sand Village and farming older Raids. Ultimate Gohun Style works for Future City content but falls off at Sky Island. Freeze Style handles Nemak Village and little else. Use them to clear their home world, then swap as soon as you find something better.
The D tier is the Summer Isles set. Shark Empress is the best weapon for that island but deals less damage than some Common and Rare weapons elsewhere, and it’s very hard to get. Ice Cream Divine Axe is the easier-to-obtain backup, but it becomes useless once you land Shark Empress. Common, Rare, and Epic weapons aren’t worth ranking, since any Legendary or Mythical replaces them instantly.
Anime Warriors 3 accessories tier list (Update 2.5)
Accessories slot into builds rather than a flat power ladder, so it makes more sense to rank them by what they do. One accessory now works in almost every build, while the rest split between damage and farming.
| Build type | Accessories |
|---|---|
| Meta | Cruel Sun |
| DPS | Rinnegon, Shun’s Cloak, Head Captain Outfit, Thunder Drums, Desert Warlord Coat, Dawn Cloak, Warrior Attire, Hebi |
| Farming and Luck | Super Cel’s Wings, Orochi’s Obi, Elf Mage Cloak, Captain Robe, Shun’s Hat, 17’s Bandana, Rain Headband |
Meta accessory
Cruel Sun, added in Update 2.5, is the single best accessory right now. Its long list of buffs makes it fit both DPS and farming builds, and it’s great for hunting rare drops while still giving a decent damage boost. The downside is it’s hard to obtain and only available for a limited time.
Best accessories for damage
| Accessory | Why it ranks here |
|---|---|
| Rinnegon | The highest flat damage buff in the game at +30% Damage, plus +25% Health for survivability. Paths of Pain Style with Rinnegon is the current Gauntlet meta. |
| Shun’s Cloak | Ties Rinnegon at +30% Damage and adds +20% Boss Damage, making it ideal for grinding Bosses and Secret Bosses. It’s also easier to get. |
| Head Captain Outfit | A +15% Damage base with a -30% Ultimate Cost and +50% Ultimate Damage, so you can spam Ultimates against bosses, in Raids, and in Gauntlet. |
| Thunder Drums | Boosts base and Ultimate Damage and speeds up Ultimate charge. It has excellent synergy with Thunder God Staff. |
| Dawn Cloak | Increases Dodge Chance and Attack Speed and gives a big Ultimate boost, though it’s only a 1.38% drop from Clan Hideout. |
| Warrior Attire | The pick for Crit builds, with large Crit Damage and Crit Chance bonuses plus extra Attack Speed. |
| Hebi | A massive DPS boost to base Damage, Crit Damage, and Crit Chance, strong in Raids and Gauntlet. Very hard to get at a 0.2% drop from Orochi. |
Best accessories for farming and luck
| Accessory | Why it ranks here |
|---|---|
| Super Cel’s Wings | Highest Drops buff at +60% from all sources, plus +40% Luck and a Walk Speed boost. The best all-around farming piece. |
| Orochi’s Obi | Highest Drops buff in the game at +50% with +30% Luck. Few accessories raise both stats at once. |
| Elf Mage Cloak | +50% Luck and +20% EXP Gain to speed up leveling. Difficult to obtain from Escort Missions. |
| Captain Robe | A rare Luck and Crit Damage combo, useful against Story and Secret Bosses, though it underperforms in Raids. |
| Shun’s Hat | One of the best late-game Luck boosters, with extra Health for survivability, and a high drop chance. |
| 17’s Bandana | Easy to grab early and buffs Drops by +10%. Replace it once you find something stronger. |
| Rain Headband | A strong early-game option that buffs Walk Speed and Luck. The Crossed version swaps in a Damage and EXP Gain buff. |
Best Anime Warriors 3 builds right now
If you want the strongest setups, match an S tier weapon with accessories that push the stat you care about. These combinations cover the situations you’ll hit most often.
- Gauntlet DPS: Paths of Pain Style with Rinnegon for maximum AoE pressure.
- Boss and Secret Boss DPS: Thousand Blossoms with the Head Captain Outfit to spam its Bleed Ultimate, or Shun’s Cloak for the Boss Damage buff.
- Crit DPS: Any S tier weapon with Hebi or Warrior Attire.
- Farming: Super Cel’s Wings paired with Orochi’s Obi for the highest combined Drops and Luck, or Cruel Sun if you want one accessory that does a bit of everything.
The meta moves with every patch, so re-check your loadout after major updates. Thunder God Staff’s slide from the top to B tier is a reminder that a nerf can change your best build overnight. Lock in Thousand Blossoms or Paths of Pain Style now, then build your accessories around whether you’re chasing damage or drops.
