The quest presents two steps with specific interactables:

Find signs of who brought down the ARC machines (objective 1)
Travel to the massive ARC crash site on the southeastern edge of Broken Earth. This is a large landmark and sits apart from nearby structures.
Move to the northwest side of the wreck until you spot a small metal sphere on the ground. This is the correct evidence object for the objective.
Interact with the sphere to register the clue. The quest will advance to the “Inspect the Adorned Wreckage” task once the interaction completes.
Inspect the Adorned Wreckage (objective 2)
Open your map and locate the named point of interest “Adorned Wreckage.” It sits further south than the first crash site, near Barren Clearing and south of Trapper’s Glade.
Climb up onto the wreckage at this location. Getting height puts you near the correct objective device.
Find the small computer beside the large antenna on the top section and interact with it. This finishes the objective and completes the quest.
Fix missing prompts and location mix-ups
Confirm the location name on your map reads “Adorned Wreckage.” A graffiti-covered wreck elsewhere is not the correct site for this objective.
Ignore loot chests at the top of the wreck. The required interaction is the small computer next to the big antenna.
If the first objective won’t progress at the crash site, re-check the northwest side and interact with the small metal ball. Other debris nearby will not advance the step.
If a session timer pushes you out mid-search, return to the huge wreck in Broken Earth to re-trigger the step, then proceed to the sphere and continue the route.
