Dreamlight Parks Fest 2026: All Duties and Rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Every Parks Fest duty, the button costs behind each popcorn bucket, and the exact rewards you unlock.

Every Parks Fest duty, the button costs behind each popcorn bucket, and the exact rewards you unlock.

The 2026 Dreamlight Parks Fest is running in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it packs eleven limited-time duties tied to wearable popcorn buckets and three Magic Kingdom maps you can hang in your home. The whole event is built around colored buttons you gather while harvesting, fishing, and cooking, then spend at a crafting station. Here is exactly what each duty asks for and what it gives back.

Quick answer: Complete all 11 Parks Fest duties to claim three Magic Kingdom maps (Retro, Vintage, standard) and eight handheld popcorn bucket accessories. Each handheld bucket unlocks the moment you craft its furniture version; the maps unlock after crafting 20 Purple Buttons, placing 5 popcorn buckets outdoors, and gifting 50 event cupcakes.

All 11 Parks Fest duties and their rewards

Duties live under the Village section of the Dreamlight menu and stay visible even when the event is not active. The three task-based duties cover button crafting, decorating, and cooking. The other eight simply ask you to craft a specific popcorn bucket, which immediately grants its wearable handheld twin.

How to collect every button type

Buttons are the core currency for every craft in the event. Five colors exist, and each comes from a different activity. Stock up early, because the duties that build popcorn buckets need large amounts of all of them.

ButtonHow to get it
Red ButtonForaged around villager houses. One appears every 6 minutes, up to 10 at once.
Blue ButtonFished from pink-and-blue ripples in Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach. Ripples respawn every 20–30 seconds, and blue buttons can also appear in normal ripples.
Flower ButtonForaged in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow. Five appear every 30 minutes, up to 10 at once.
Green ButtonEarned from daily and weekly event quests; daily check-ins grant 20 per day.
Purple ButtonCrafted at a station from 1 Blue Button, 2 Red Buttons, and 100 Dreamlight.

Popcorn bucket crafting recipes

Every furniture popcorn bucket needs 40 Green Buttons plus a mix of the other colors. Crafting the furniture version is what completes its matching duty and unlocks the handheld accessory.

Event quests that feed the duties

The duties depend on quests for both Green Buttons and the special buckets. Daily cupcake quests come from one of Scrooge McDuck, Ursula, WALL·E, Mickey Mouse, or Moana each day. Scrooge’s Decorate quests and Mirabel’s photo quests keep the rewards flowing, while the scavenger chains unlock the Mine Cart and Dug buckets.

  • Daily cupcake quests: Cook five of a specific cupcake and deliver them to five villagers. Mickey wants Minnie Cupcakes, Moana wants Princess Aurora Cupcakes, Scrooge wants Stitch Cupcakes, Ursula wants Mermaid Cupcakes, and WALL·E wants Spaceship Earth Cupcakes.
  • Decorate quests (Scrooge): Build and place sets of Disney Park Balloons, Colorful Park Benches, Main Street Paths, Park Banner Lampposts, Mickey Mouse Park Balloons, and Park Recycling Bins.
  • Scavenger chains: Dig It, Ovals, Rectangles, and Shinies have you mine gems with Scrooge to unlock the Mine Cart bucket. Critter Snaps, Critter Snacks, and Take Your Pic involve photographing Mirabel with squirrels and sea turtles and feeding rabbits, leading to the Dug Pupcorn Bucket.
  • New 2026 quests: Woody and Buzz Lightyear add Checkerboard Chums, Toy Camera, and Playground Games, which hand out the four Toy Block furniture pieces.

The five Parks Fest cupcake recipes

The Sweet Samaritan duty and the daily cupcake quests both rely on the same five recipes. Each shares the same base of Milk, Wheat, Butter, and Sugarcane, with one ingredient setting them apart. These ingredients are not limited-time, so you can finish Sweet Samaritan even outside the event window.

Event window and what carries over

The 2026 Dreamlight Parks Fest is available from June 10 to June 30. Start it by speaking to Scrooge McDuck at his shop, where he is always available regardless of sleep schedules. Once the event closes, you can still finish most duties using saved buttons, but you cannot gather more, so it is far easier to complete everything before the window ends. The event runs annually, so anything you miss returns in 2027.

If a duty refuses to complete, the usual cause is a missing prerequisite: Mine Cart and Dug need their full scavenger quest chains finished first, popcorn buckets only count toward Popcorn Enthusiast when placed outdoors, and Sweet Samaritan tracks only the five listed cupcakes. Clear those conditions and each duty’s reward becomes claimable on the event page.
