Visitors from the Stars: Activate the Lift and Restart the Power Engine (Genshin Impact 6.7)

Visitors from the Stars picks up the Frost Moon storyline after the Traveler follows a lead on Columbina through the Eye of Ibni-Belum terminal. The chapter sends you into Ungyen’s Circle to help the Kuuhenka fend off a monster attack, tear out the lunar vines choking the complex, and bring the power back online before you can track the escaped Harbinger. The lift and the underground power engine are the parts that stall most players, so the route below keeps you moving straight through them.

Quick answer: Travel through the Eye of Ibni-Belum to Ungyen’s Circle, clear the monsters and lunar vines at the terminal, then go to the large tree and take the path to the left of the gazebo. Activate the lift, inspect the power system, drop underground to restart the engine, then find Columbina on the Skyway and retrieve the Ancient Moon Origin at the Moonsea to complete the quest.

How to start Visitors from the Stars

The quest begins automatically once you finish the first chapter of the Moon Gazing questline, which itself follows the Pioneers quest that opens the Frost Moon region. There is no separate trigger to hunt down. As soon as the previous chapter wraps, Visitors from the Stars appears and the objective points you toward the Eye of Ibni-Belum. The chain arrived as part of the 6.7 update.

Reach Ungyen’s Circle and clear the lunar vines

Activate the Eye of Ibni-Belum, then board the high-speed transit channel and ride it to Ungyen’s Circle. This is the region where only magical creatures adapted to the harsh conditions survive.

Deal with the monsters waiting on arrival, speak with the Egg, and follow the unusual creatures deeper into the complex until you reach the terminal.

Defeat the enemies around the terminal and clear the lunar vines blocking it. Activating the device rewards you with a damaged engineering blueprint and data on Columbina, placing her near a huge flying creature.

Activate the lift and restart the power engine

Head to the large tree and examine its trunk through the gap. Look for the path running to the left of the gazebo, which leads toward the lift.

Activate the lift, then inspect the power system it connects to. This opens the way down to the underground section where the power engine sits.

Go underground to restart the engine. Stay inside the occlusion field while you work, clear the vines wrapped around the turbines, and protect Ning Ning while she reads the data from the terminal.

Note: Leaving the occlusion field during this stage exposes you to the hazard, so keep your movement tight around the turbines while the vines come off. You know the step worked when the engine restarts and the objective updates to send you back to the surface.

Find Columbina and retrieve the Ancient Moon Origin

With the engine repaired, return to the surface and ascend to the Skyway to find Columbina. During the meeting, you learn that Ning Ning is not an ordinary Kuuhenka and that the Archeolunar Storm ties back to Maggie and Ungi.

Travel to the Moonsea and follow the Kuuhenka pod. Free the trapped creatures, defeat the monsters, and trail the shining fin whales toward the center of the area.

Retrieve the Ancient Moon Origin at the center to finish the quest. Doing so reveals information about Lusalima, the Lunar Veil Project, and the next base on the far side of the Moon. The story continues in the Project Moongazer chapter.

Completing the quest unlocks six achievements from the Wonders of the World section, each worth 5 Primogems.
