Unfettered Crescent is the region-completion category that tracks chests, waypoints, map coverage, and shrine seals across Nod-Krai and the new Frost Moon zones.
The Luna VIII update went live on July 1, 2026, bringing the new area beyond Teyvat’s skies, the 5-star Cryo Claymore user Sandrone, and the Stella Superconduct reaction. You can confirm an achievement fired when the on-screen banner pops and the entry moves to the completed state in the Achievements menu, where you then claim the Primogems manually.

Unfettered Crescent achievements in 6.7
The 11 Unfettered Crescent entries reward exploration of the new open-world zones. Chests, waypoints, full map coverage, and the shrine and trove seals all count here, adding up to 105 Primogems. Finish all of them to receive the “Nod-Krai: Moonbright” Namecard as the category completion prize.

Tips for clearing the full set
Two entries carry the heaviest requirements, so plan around them. Moonmist Treasure Hunter needs 180 chests opened across the Dunanna Pit and the Frost Moon, and it pays the single largest reward at 35 Primogems. The map-lighting achievements (A Lamentation of Catastrophe, Blue Moon, and Any Colour You Like) also feed into Le Voyage dans la Lune, since that one requires every Teleport Waypoint in Nod-Krai and the three named Frost Moon zones.
Note: If a story achievement such as One Small Step for Paimon or Sublunar Huldra does not appear, it usually means the corresponding step in Visitors from the Stars or Pioneers has not been reached yet. Keep advancing that quest chain and the entry unlocks in sequence.
Clear both categories and the payout lands at 235 Primogems, with the “Nod-Krai: Moonbright” Namecard added once every Unfettered Crescent entry is checked off. Since most triggers happen naturally while finishing the Frost Moon storyline and mapping the region, the achievements largely take care of themselves as you complete Luna VIII’s new content.
