GTA Online’s first proper heist in years now has a hard date. The Kortz Center Heist, built around a raid on a high-end art gallery in Pacific Bluffs, launches on Tuesday, July 14, and Rockstar has spelled out exactly what you need before you can pull it off.
Quick answer: The Kortz Center Heist releases in GTA Online on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 10am BST (9:00 UTC) across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. You must own a Mansion with the new Art Studio expansion to play it.
Release time: Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 10am BST (9:00 UTC)

Release status: Confirmed for July 14
Rockstar officially confirmed the date on the Newswire, framing it as the next big score in Los Santos. The update goes live at the usual weekly time of 10am BST, which is when GTA Online typically pushes its title updates. It arrives on all current platforms, so PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC players all get it the same day.
Rockstar has not said whether the patch can be pre-loaded ahead of time. There was no pre-load for the most recent major drop, so plan to download it after servers update rather than before.

What you need before launch: the Art Studio
You cannot start the heist without a Mansion, and inside that Mansion you need to buy the new Art Studio space expansion. That is the gate. If you do not own a Mansion by July 14, buying the property and the expansion is the first thing on your list.
Once the Art Studio is renovated, a counterfeiter sets up shop there and paints forgeries to swap in for the pieces you steal. Gear and tech also pile up in the Studio as you prep, and you pull from that stockpile to build a custom loadout for the finale. Mansion owners can invite friends into the Art Studio the same way they can with other owned properties.
The Studio doubles as a display space. Instead of always selling stolen art to Mr. Faber’s clients, you can keep Primary Target paintings and hang them in your Mansion. Three new paintings become available to steal each week, so there is a reason to keep running it.
How the Kortz Center Heist works
You work with Mr. Faber and his fixer Raf De Angelis. Raf acts as your point man during the job, feeding you reconnaissance and intel as you go. The structure follows the familiar heist loop of scoping the target, choosing an approach, and then executing the theft.
During scoping you walk the gallery in Pacific Bluffs, photograph the paintings without tripping security, and map out ways in and out. Beyond the main paintings, the Kortz Center holds a lot of fine art you can grab as Secondary Targets, and those add up fast toward a bigger payout. Scoping also helps you spot those extra pieces and find backup escape routes.
Staying covert matters for the money. Art that is known to be stolen fences for less on the secondary market, so wiping CCTV footage and leaving no witnesses keeps your take higher and the heat lower. You can run it solo or with a crew of up to three other players, and extra hands can mean escaping with more loot.

New vehicles and the free Grotti Veleno GT
The update ships with a batch of new cars, including several supercars plus Drift and Hao’s Special Works upgrade-compatible options. The headline vehicle is the Grotti Veleno GT.
GTA+ members get the Grotti Veleno GT for free as part of the new GTA+ month that starts July 14. It stays exclusive to GTA+ subscribers for one week before everyone else can buy it. Rockstar also teased updates to the Rockstar Mission Creator arriving with the DLC.
Prep bonuses and discounts before July 14
Rockstar has been running preparation events to help you fund the setup. If you are new to Mansion ownership, these bonuses cut the cost of getting a base near the Kortz Center. Prix Luxury Real Estate’s Richman Villa in the Vinewood Hills sits a short drive from the gallery.

How to know it’s live
On July 14, GTA Online will prompt a title update when you launch the game. After installing it and loading into a session, the Kortz Center Heist and its new content appear in-game, and GTA+ members can claim the Grotti Veleno GT from The Vinewood Car Club showroom. If nothing shows up, the patch has not finished rolling out on your platform yet, so restart the game and reinstall the update once it is available.
This is one of the last major additions to the current version of GTA Online, and it lands with a full property requirement and weekly rotating targets built for repeat runs. If you want to be ready on day one, lock in a Mansion and the Art Studio expansion before servers flip over on July 14.
