Finishing your tycoon in Ice Tycoon 2 only scratches the surface of what the game tracks. Full badge completion pulls you into hidden caves, a lava pit, timed water escapes, a moving-platform gauntlet, five scattered gems, and two very different endings. Each badge fires a “Badge Awarded” notification the moment its exact condition is met, so the goal is simply knowing what triggers each one.
Quick answer: There are nine badges. Collector needs all five gems placed in the pedestal; Escapist and Voyager come from two trophy challenges gated behind Crystal upgrades, Up And Running comes from restoring the factory, Secret Finder needs four hidden events, Drought needs every water source drained, Complete needs 100% tycoon progress, and Ending One and Ending Two are earned through rebirth runs with opposite merchant rules.

The circular device on your tycoon wall has five colored slots. Fill all of them and the Collector badge unlocks. It also hands you a permanent upgrader that stays through rebirths, which makes this the most worthwhile badge to chase early. You need to have unlocked most of the map first, since several gems sit behind areas you only reach by progressing normally.
| Gem | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Blue Gem | Inside the Mine, once all mine areas are unlocked |
| Green Gem | Outside the hidden Abandoned Factory, on a wall obby |
| Red Gem | Under the lava pit at your tycoon |
| Yellow Gem | Behind the escape building’s locked door |
| Purple Gem | Inside the military area’s underground tunnels |
Blue Gem
Unlock the full Mine first. In the corner of a mining room is a pile of breakable rocks. Mine them with your pickaxe using the [E] Mine prompt, and a square hole opens in the floor. Drop through it into the small room below to grab the Blue Gem. There’s no puzzle, and the hole stays open only until you collect it.

Green Gem
Head past the cold warning signs (marked -10 and -30) until you reach a static-textured wall you can walk straight through. That leads outside to the Abandoned Factory. On the left side of the building, climb the narrow green blocks up the wall, jump through the window opening, and touch the pedestal in the small green room to take the Green Gem.

Red Gem
This one starts at the Hotel. You need the Hotel trophy first, then find the Frozen Magma, a glowing blue stone on the floor of an upper-floor room. Pick it up with [E] Grab and carry it back to your tycoon. Stand by the lava pit, consume the Frozen Magma for the “+Heat resistance for 1 minute” buff, and jump straight into the lava. You land in a red-lit room where the Red Gem sits on a pedestal.

Yellow Gem
Clear all three escape levels inside the escape building. Each level raises the water faster and adds obstacles, and finishing Level 3 rewards a Key. Use the Key on the hidden door nearby, run the short obstacle course behind it, and collect the Yellow Gem at the end.

Purple Gem
Go to the military area and enter the underground tunnels. Follow the turns in order: first left, then right, right again, and a final right. That brings you to a platforming section. Complete the obby and press the escape button afterward to claim the Purple Gem.
With all five in hand, drop each gem into its matching slot on the pedestal. The Collector badge unlocks the instant the last one is placed.
Escapist and Voyager: the two trophy challenges
Both of these badges are gated behind your Crystal upgrade level, so upgrade the Crystal early to open them up.

Up And Running: repair the abandoned factory
Find the hidden factory entrance and go inside. Buy a water bucket, then repeatedly fill it and scrub every dirty area in the building. Along the way, you’ll also fix structures like the lights and stairs. Once everything is clean and repaired, hit the control switch to restore power and step through the portal inside. Activating the factory awards the Up And Running badge.

Secret Finder: all four hidden secrets
This badge only fires after you trigger every hidden event on the map. Miss one and it won’t unlock, so run through all four.
- Secret 1: Go to the well, work through the cave system to a hidden chamber, and interact with the collectible there.
- Secret 2: Fill your bucket, jump into the flooded chamber, and stay in it until the room fills completely with water. You respawn afterward, and the event counts as a secret.
- Secret 3: Buy the statue area, climb the hidden ladder behind the statue, and press the concealed button at the top.
- Secret 4: Head into the factory section and keep going forward until a hidden mechanism launches your character out of the area.
After the last of the four triggers, the Secret Finder badge is awarded.

Drought: drain every water source
Drought is easy to overlook because it asks you to empty every water source on the map, not just one. Drain all six and the badge pops on its own:
- Main water pool
- Underground water source
- Fountain
- Lower cave water
- River
- Well

Complete: reach 100% tycoon progress
Step on every red buy button until nothing is left to build. That includes pieces like the walls, roof, doors, crates, tree, fence, and statue. When the last button is bought, the Tycoon Progress sign flips to 100%, and the Complete badge is awarded.
Ending One and Ending Two
The two endings are the longest badges to earn because both run through rebirths, and they have opposite rules about the item merchant.
Ending One
Rack up five rebirths in total. The specific catch is that after your fourth rebirth, when you start the tycoon again, you must buy at least one item from the item merchant. That purchase is what carries the run to the first ending and awards the Ending One badge.

Ending Two
For the second ending, complete a rebirth run without buying anything from the item merchant. Troops don’t count as items, so you can still recruit them. It’s best to attempt this right after Ending One, since your boosted cash multiplier lets you push through without merchant help. The game will keep nagging you to buy items throughout the run. Once you climb above roughly 80% tycoon progress, a merchant jumpscare triggers, and every worker in the mine, farm, and factory turns up dead. From there, you operate all stations yourself until the run ends and the Ending Two badge unlocks. Having four rebirth upgrades makes this smoother, though it has been cleared with as few as two.
The efficient order is to upgrade your Crystal early for Escapist and Voyager, clear the escape rooms so the gem hunt and Collector fall into place, then knock out the exploration badges before saving the rebirth endings for last. Because several badges send you back to areas you can only reach after new upgrades, sweeping the map once you’re fully unlocked keeps you from repeating trips.
