The Jurassic Event drops a limited-time excavation area into Storage Hunters: Open World, adding two new auction garages, two quest NPCs, and more than 25 dinosaur-themed collectibles ranging from cheap stone furniture to five-figure vehicles. Everything here is temporary, so the value is in clearing the garages and quests before the area is pulled.
Quick answer: The Jurassic Area sits right next to the Farmyard Auction and contains the Jurassic Stable Garage and Jurassic Barn Garage. Bid on lockers in both to collect the items, complete Kyle’s 10-quest collection ladder, finish Annie’s fix-and-clean questline to earn the Prehistoric Car, and do it all before the event ends on July 25.
Where the Jurassic Area is located
The excavation zone is built directly beside the Farmyard Auction and has replaced the old farm patch where the Needle Lost Item used to sit. When you arrive, a giant crashed meteor marks the spot, and the Jurassic Auction area is positioned straight across from it.

Because the area is attached to the Farmyard, you need to reach the Farmyard first. That unlock is gated at $10,000 net worth, so newer players should build up cash before expecting to bid here.

Add to Google Preferences →The two Jurassic auction garages
All of the event’s limited items are pulled from lockers inside two exclusive garages. Both hold the same dinosaur-themed pool, so keep cycling between them and bidding to expand your collection.
- Jurassic Stable Garage — one of the two exclusive event locker sources.
- Jurassic Barn Garage — the second event locker source with the same item pool.
Check both garages repeatedly across the event window, since rarer items appear inconsistently and you want as many auction rolls as possible before the deadline.
Kyle and Annie: The two event NPCs
Two new NPCs live in the Jurassic Area and each runs a separate questline built around the event items you pull from auctions.
Kyle hands out a 10-quest Jurassic collection ladder that rewards you for finding event-themed items during auctions. You can also talk to him to open the Jurassic collection index and track what you still need.
Annie runs the other questline. Her objectives ask you to fix and clean the event items you win at auction. Clearing all of Annie’s tasks rewards you with the Prehistoric Car.

All Jurassic Event items and sell values
These are the event-themed items found in the Jurassic Stable Garage and Jurassic Barn Garage, with their minimum sell values. The Prehistoric Car and the higher-tier wearables carry the most weight, while the stone and crystal furniture pieces are low-value collection filler.

| Crystal Asteroid | $34 |
Crystal Fence | $120 |
| Red Crystal | $160 |

Note: Crystal Tower’s sell value has not been confirmed yet, so treat it as a collection piece for now rather than a money target.
Wearables now grant passive effects
All limited wearables obtained during the event now carry passive effects while equipped, so items like the Explorer Backpack, Caveman Backpack, Petroglyphs Backpack, Dino Shell Bracelet, and Bone Wristband do more than change your look. That makes the higher-tier wearables worth keeping and equipping rather than immediately selling.

When the Jurassic Event ends
The event closes on July 25. Once it ends, both Jurassic garages and their limited pool are expected to leave, so anything you have not pulled or crafted through the quests will no longer be obtainable through normal auctions.
To make the most of the window, keep bidding across the Jurassic Stable Garage and Jurassic Barn Garage, work Kyle’s collection ladder as you go, and prioritize Annie’s fix-and-clean tasks so the Prehistoric Car is locked in before the deadline.
