Cursed Crystals are a limited event currency in Jujutsu Zero, and they carry more weight than most side rewards. You spend them at the Investigation Shop on Edo crate bundles, cosmetic skins, currency exchanges, and account upgrades. Because the shop stocks some genuinely useful items behind steep prices, the speed at which you gather crystals decides how quickly you unlock them.
Quick answer: Run the Edo-Period Investigation dungeon (level 750 or higher) and defeat the final boss on the hardest difficulty you can clear quickly. Rewards scale with clear speed, so the fastest consistent run gives the most crystals per minute.

Where Cursed Crystals come from
There are a few ways to collect Cursed Crystals, but they are not equal. Investigations is the primary and most reliable source. The other methods trickle in crystals or depend on separate currencies, so treat them as extras rather than your main farm.
| Source | How it works | Reliability |
|---|---|---|
| Investigations dungeon | Clear enemy rooms and beat the final boss for crystals, XP, Yen, and crates | Fastest and most consistent |
| AFK Rewards | Small chance of crystals from AFK Rolls, tied to your Sorcerer Grade | Slow and random; use only while away |
| Infinite Raid Shop | Exchange Infinity Tokens for crystals (100 crystals per 666 tokens) | Limited by your token supply |
| Jogoat (Disaster Flame Curse) raid | Hard raid against the Flame Curse boss pays out crystals plus Disaster crates | High per-run payout for strong builds |

Investigations are dungeon runs rather than single boss fights. You move through several rooms of enemies, then finish in a final boss room. The Edo-Period Investigation requires you to be at least level 750.
You know a run counted when the boss crate drops, and you see the Obtained [amount] Cursed Crystals notification, along with EXP, Yen, and Edo crates. If you leave before beating the final boss, you get nothing from that run.

Difficulty rewards and why speed matters
Each difficulty sets a different minimum crystal payout. On top of that base amount, the reward increases the faster you finish the dungeon. That combination is the key to efficient farming.
| Difficulty | Minimum Cursed Crystals | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | 35 | Weaker or newer builds |
| Medium | 65 | Balanced clear speed and reward |
| Hard | 100 | Strong builds that clear without stalling |
Hard is not automatically the best choice. The real target is crystals earned per minute, not per run. If Hard takes too long or you die mid-run, several quick Medium or Easy clears can out-earn it. Pick the toughest difficulty you can finish quickly and cleanly, then move up as your build improves.
Tip: Build around three things for faster runs. Use abilities that hit whole groups to clear rooms fast, keep enough single-target damage to end the boss quickly, and hold enough survivability that you are not resetting on deaths.

Extra sources: AFK Rolls, Infinity Tokens, and the Jogo raid
AFK Rewards give one AFK Roll every 100 seconds while you stay in game, and those rolls can land Cursed Crystals in small batches. The payouts scale with your Sorcerer Grade, and reaching Calamity Grade grants a one-time bonus of 10,000 Cursed Crystals. It is steady but slow, so lean on it only when you are stepping away.
If you have banked Infinity Tokens, the Infinite Raid Shop lets you buy crystals directly. The exchange trades 666 Infinity Tokens for 100 Cursed Crystals, which is handy for converting spare tokens rather than farming from scratch.
Strong accounts can also run the Disaster Flame Curse (Jogo) raid on Hard against the Lv. 2,000 Flame Curse. Breaking the Flame Pillars opens the boss to damage, and a first-place clear pays out a large batch of crystals along with Disaster crates. This suits players who already have the damage to end the fight fast.

What to spend Cursed Crystals on
Cursed Crystals are spent at the Investigation Shop, reachable through the Investigation Event NPC. The stock rotates on a regular cycle, so a large crystal stash lets you grab valuable items the moment they appear.
| Item | Reward | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| x10 Edo Crate | Materials, Edo items, and vows | 100 |
| Lumen Exchange | 3,500 Lumens | 100 |
| Lovely Lumen Exchange | 500 Lovely Lumens | 100 |
| 100x Crate Open | Unlocks opening 100 crates at once | 500 |
| Clan Filter | Enables clan roll filtering | 500 |
| Lucky Dice | Unlocks Domain Expansion for the Love Train technique | 1,500 |
| Lovely Skin I | Lovely Limitless skin | 2,500 |
| Lovely Skin II | Lovely Shrine skin | 5,000 |
| Hakari Clan | Hakari clan | 7,777 |
| Sukuna Clan | Sukuna clan | 8,888 |
Many shop entries carry purchase limits, and the lineup refreshes roughly every two weeks. If a stronger item might return or replace what is currently listed, holding crystals can be smarter than spending them right away.
Cursed Crystals are tied to the current event and are not a permanent currency, so it is worth farming while the Investigation Shop is active. The most efficient loop stays the same throughout: run Edo Investigations at the highest difficulty you can clear fast, keep your run times short, and reinvest the Edo crates you earn into a stronger build that clears future runs even quicker.
