Palworld: Legendary Ancient Helm Schematic Location and Stats

The Legendary Ancient Helm is the top-tier version of the Ancient Helm headgear added in Palworld’s 1.0 update. You cannot build it straight from the Technology tree. You first need the Legendary Ancient Helm Schematic sitting in your inventory, and that schematic only comes from a couple of luck-based sources.

Quick answer: Find the Legendary Ancient Helm Schematic in Treasure Boxes or from a Treasure Map, keep it in your inventory, then craft the helm at an Ancient Workbench using Soralite Ingot x40, AI Core x5, and Ancient Civilization Parts x9.

Where to get the Legendary Ancient Helm Schematic

There is no vendor or boss that hands you this schematic directly. It shows up as a rare loot roll in two places, and both have low drop rates, so expect to grind.

  • Treasure Boxes: Certain chests can roll the Legendary Ancient Helm Schematic. The chance per chest is very small, so opening a large number of them is usually what it takes.
  • Treasure Maps: Use a Treasure Map and travel to the spot it marks on your map. The dig can produce the schematic, though you will often pull a different reward instead.

Note: Because the odds are stacked against a single attempt, treat every chest run and map dig as one roll. Keep repeating them rather than expecting the schematic on your first try.

Crafting materials and workbench

Once the schematic is in your bag, the Legendary Ancient Helm becomes craftable. You need the exact materials below and access to an Ancient Workbench. Keep the schematic in your inventory the whole time, since removing it locks the recipe again.

The helm carries built-in Neutral Damage Reduction Lv. 1 and Dragon Damage Reduction Lv. 1, which makes it a solid pick when you are facing Dragon-type attackers.

Legendary vs. standard Ancient Helm stats

Every core stat on the Legendary version is higher than the regular Ancient Helm, so it is a straight upgrade with no trade-offs. The biggest jump is durability, which quadruples.

StatLegendaryStandard
Defense650500
HP15601200
Durability10000025000

For reference, the standard Ancient Helm is described as a helmet forged from Soralite Ingot with defensive numbers that outclass modern gear. The Legendary variant keeps that identity and pushes each figure further.

How to confirm the craft worked

You know the setup is correct when the Legendary Ancient Helm appears as a buildable option at the Ancient Workbench while the schematic is in your inventory. If the recipe is greyed out or missing, the most common reason is that the schematic is stored in a chest or was consumed elsewhere. Move it back into your personal inventory and the recipe returns.

After crafting, equip the helm in the headgear slot and check the stat panel. Defense of 650, HP of 1560, and a durability pool of 100000 confirm you built the Legendary version rather than the standard one. With those numbers and the two damage-reduction effects rolled in, it sits at the top of the Ancient headgear line.
