Mutated cards are the fastest way to grow your income in Anime Card Farm. Each mutation changes both the sale value and the earning rate of a card, and the bigger multipliers can carry your plot for a long time. There are eleven mutations in total after the Crafting Update, ranging from a modest 1.5x boost all the way up to an event-only 80x card.

Quick answer: The strongest mutation you can pull normally is Starfallen (75x). Mutated packs appear randomly on the conveyor when you click Spawn Pack, and you open them by placing the pack in your plot. The Admin mutation only spawns during the Admin Abuse event.

All mutations and their multipliers

Every mutation applies the same multiplier to two things at once, the card’s sale value and its passive earning rate. That means a mutated card is worth keeping and placing rather than selling straight away. The table below lists all eleven mutations in order from weakest to strongest.

How mutated card packs spawn

Mutations do not come from a menu or a guaranteed drop. They arrive as special card packs that appear on the conveyor with an unknown chance every time you press the Spawn Pack button. When one shows up, buy it before it moves off the belt.

Rarer mutations are much harder to see. Low-tier packs such as Golden, Diamond, and Veno spawn far more often than high-value ones like Glitch and Starfallen. Mutated packs also cost more than their normal versions, so you need a healthy Cash balance ready to grab the big ones when they land.

Keep pressing Spawn Pack to push packs onto the conveyor and watch for a pack with a distinct mutated appearance.
Buy the mutated pack as soon as it appears, since it carries a higher price than a standard pack.
Place the pack in your plot to open it and reveal the mutated card, then leave that card in your plot so it earns at the boosted rate.

You will know it worked when the card in your plot shows the mutation’s distinct look and a higher earning rate than the base version of the same card. That boost stays with the card as it levels up, so mutated cards remain your top earners over time.

The Admin mutation and the Admin Abuse event

The Admin mutation applies an 80x boost and sits at the top of the value ladder. It will not appear on the conveyor during normal play. Admin packs can only spawn during the Anime Card Farm Admin Abuse event, so if you are hunting one, you need to be in the game while that event is running.

Outside of that event, Starfallen at 75x is the strongest mutation available to everyone, and it is the realistic long-term chase for filling your plot with high earners.

Raising your mutation chance

A Mutation Potion increases the odds of a mutated pack appearing during a session. You can pick one up from the POTIONS code, which also grants a Cash Potion and a Luck Potion. Redeem it through the in-game Shop, then activate the Mutation Potion right before a focused spawning session so the timer is not wasted.

Because mutated packs cost more than normal packs, pair the potion with a solid Cash reserve. There is no benefit to triggering a mutated pack if you cannot afford to buy it before it leaves the belt.

Note: The Mutation Potion raises your chance while it is active, but it does not guarantee a mutation on any single spawn. Treat it as a boost to a random roll, not a switch that forces one.

Which mutations to keep

Every mutation is an upgrade over the base card, but they are not equal. A single high-tier mutation can out-earn a whole shelf of normal cards, so a mutated pull should jump straight to the front of your upgrade queue. Fill your plot with the highest multipliers you can afford, then upgrade those cards first before spreading Cash across weaker slots.

Golden and Diamond mutations are common and useful early, but replace them as stronger mutated cards come in. Rainbow and above are worth holding onto, and anything from Glitch upward is a genuine income anchor that can carry your plot while you build toward the next one.
