The 2026 Roblox Innovation Awards hand out six free UGC items inside a single voting hub, and each one is tied to a short in-game objective rather than a code or purchase. Everything is claimable in one visit, and the whole set takes only a few minutes to finish once you know where to go.
Quick answer: Launch [RIA26] The Block, then complete six objectives inside the hub — join once, vote in all 19 categories, travel through a nominated-game portal and return, take one screenshot, collect all seven hidden cubes, and finish the hidden obby. Each objective drops its item straight into your inventory.

Every reward is awarded the moment you complete its task. There is no points system this year, so you keep each item permanently once the matching badge fires.

Event window and deadline
The voting hub opened on July 29, 2026, and closes on August 11, 2026, at 8:00 PM PST. Claim all six items before that cutoff, since the UGC may stop being available once voting ends. Winners of the awards are set to be announced on September 12.
RIA 2026 Welcome Cap (automatic on join)
This is the one item you cannot miss. Load into [RIA26] The Block and the Welcome Cap badge fires on its own during the spawn-in. The cap lands in your inventory with no extra steps, so if you joined the hub at all, it is already yours.
RIA 2026 World Builder Hammer (vote in all 19 categories)
Tip: You must submit a choice in all 19 categories. Skipping even one leaves the item locked, so check that every category shows a confirmed vote before you walk away.
RIA 2026 VFX Staff of Wizardry (use a game portal)
RIA 2026 Aura of Re-Animation (take one screenshot)
This year there is no photo booth. The hub uses Roblox’s built-in capture tool instead. Click the camera icon on the right side of the screen to take a single screenshot. That one capture triggers the RIA 2026 Smile, You’re on Camera badge and awards the Aura of Re-Animation.
RIA 2026 Programmer’s Scrolls (all seven hidden cubes)
Seven cubes are scattered across the hub, mostly along the obby routes that ring the map. There is no set order, so grab whichever you reach first. Collecting the seventh unlocks the RIA 2026 Techno Seeker badge and the Programmer’s Scrolls.
- From spawn, take the left path and keep walking. A cube floats on the second obby platform.
- Continue along the left route through the obstacles. At the first junction you will find another cube.
- Come back slightly, then head right toward the center of the lobby. Follow the obby to a cube in the middle-top of the map (the same area as the Musical Mindset Aura).
- Go back again and, from the big Roblox icon, take the right obby. A cube sits at the end of those obstacles.
- From there, take the left obstacle path back toward spawn to find another cube on the way.
- One cube is tucked behind the small speaker at the right edge of the lobby.
- The last one is near spawn — look to your left and go behind the large speaker.
RIA 2026 Musical Mindset Aura (finish the hidden obby)
While hunting for cubes you will run into a hidden obstacle course built into the edge of the hub. Work through the jumps and branching routes until you reach the end. Finishing the course awards the RIA 2026 Obby Master badge, which unlocks the Musical Mindset Aura. Because the obby and several cubes share the same paths, you can knock out both objectives on one lap.
Confirming your unlocks
Each objective pops a matching badge in the corner of your screen the instant it completes, and the item appears in your inventory right away. If a badge does not fire, the usual cause is an incomplete objective — most often a missed voting category or a cube you have not touched yet. Retrace the specific step, watch for the badge notification, and the reward will land. Grab all six before the August 11 cutoff and enjoy the new gear on your avatar.
