Disney Dreamlight Valley: Mini-Game Mayhem Quest Walkthrough

Set up Ralph's contest, craft the Scavenger Posts, and dig up all three Skull Rock treasures to finish the quest.

Set up Ralph’s contest, craft the Scavenger Posts, and dig up all three Skull Rock treasures to finish the quest.

Mini-Game Mayhem is Wreck-It Ralph’s second friendship quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it packs a lot into one stretch. You run a dessert contest, take a short fishing detour, gather a full materials list for Peter Pan, and finish with a scavenger hunt inside Skull Rock where the clues don’t say what they mean.

Quick answer: Talk to Ralph, place Tiana’s cakes and catch a fish, then meet Peter Pan and craft four Scavenger Posts from his materials list. Head into Skull Rock and dig up all three buried treasures to complete the quest.

How to unlock Mini-Game Mayhem

Mini-Game Mayhem becomes available once you raise Ralph’s friendship level and complete Peter Pan’s quest, The Music’s on the Walls. When both conditions are met, the quest starts by speaking with Ralph directly.

Start the dessert contest and go fishing

Speak with Ralph to begin. He wants to hold an eating contest with Vanellope and has asked Tiana to bake cakes for it. Find Tiana somewhere in the valley to collect the Dessert Contest Cakes.

Return to Ralph’s house and place the cakes on the display table to set up the competition. Snap a photo once both cakes are in place. Ralph then decides an eating contest isn’t the right way to hand out his prize, so he gives you the cakes and switches to a fishing contest instead.
Go outside and catch any fish with your Fishing Rod. Let the conversation between Ralph and Vanellope play out. Vanellope finds fishing too slow and suggests asking Peter Pan for a better game idea, which sends Ralph to Peter’s location.

Gather materials and craft the Scavenger Posts

Peter Pan proposes a scavenger hunt in Skull Rock and hands over Arcade Pixel to get started. To advertise the hunt and draw in contestants, you need to craft four Scavenger Posts. Beyond the Arcade Pixel, here is where each material comes from.

MaterialHow to get it
Dark WoodForage near trees in the Forgotten Lands, the only biome where it spawns.
Vitalys CrystalMine the black, blue-veined rocks inside the Vitalys Mines in Sunlit Plateau.
GlassCraft at any Crafting Station using Sand and Coal Ore, or buy it from Kristoff’s Stall when stocked.
Gold IngotCraft at a Crafting Station from Gold Nuggets (Sunlit Plateau, Forgotten Lands, or Frosted Heights) and Coal Ore.
Tinkering PartsCraft at a Crafting Station from Iron Ingots.
Arcade PixelProvided by Peter Pan when the hunt is proposed.

Once the posts are crafted and placed, wait for the contestants to arrive. When everyone has gathered, head into Skull Rock to begin the hunt.

Where to find all three buried treasures in Skull Rock

Skull Rock is Peter Pan’s hideout, and you land in a cave room filled with crates, barrels, and treasure sacks. The three dig spots are close together, but two of the clues describe features that don’t look the way they sound. The order you dig them in does not matter.

First treasure: Look for the loose pile of gold in the starting room, sitting near the support posts. Dig right next to it.

Second treasure: The clue points to “the stairs,” but there is no real staircase. Turn around from the gold pile and dig at what looks more like a ramp, up to the right near the lamp post. That ramp is the “stairs” the clue means.

Third treasure: The clue says “near a bridge,” but you are actually looking for a wooden dock sitting out over the water, in a bright, sunlit patch of the cave lined with wooden planks and a tree stump, across from the entrance where the floating ship sits. Dig there for the last treasure.

How to confirm the quest is complete

After all three treasures are dug up, Ralph tries to hand the prize to Vanellope since she loves winning, even though you found them. Vanellope turns it down, so the rewards go to you. When that conversation finishes, Mini-Game Mayhem closes out and Ralph’s questline moves on to Green Monster, Inc.
