Mistfall Hunter Seer Build: Best Oath, Skills, and Affixes

Pick Blasphemer for solo pressure or Reverent for trio support, then lock the talents and affixes that carry each oath.

Pick Blasphemer for solo pressure or Reverent for trio support, then lock the talents and affixes that carry each oath.

The Seer is Mistfall Hunter’s only true support class, and it forces a decision most other classes never make. Before a match starts, you pledge one of two oaths at Camp, and you cannot swap mid-run. Reverent leans on a Catalyst for shields, heals, and rune constructs. Blasphemer swings a Mace, stacks Super Armor through the Zeal mechanic, and grinds enemies down in melee. The oath you choose decides which skills you can even slot, so the build starts with that pick.

Quick answer: Choose Blasphemer (Mace) if you are playing solo or want front-line pressure in PvE, and build around Zeal, Super Armor, and self-heal. Choose Reverent (Catalyst) for Trios, and build around Shelter Rune, Death Ward, and healing that scales with your Attack.

Reverent vs Blasphemer: which oath to pledge

The two oaths play like separate characters. Reverent hangs back, fires slow ranged orbs, and plants runes that heal allies or lock down space. Blasphemer trades all of that for a punchy melee string, more dodges, higher health, and stackable resistances. Reverent shines in organized Trios and PvP skirmishes. Blasphemer is far more self-sufficient against NPCs, bosses, and in solo runs.

TraitReverent (Catalyst)Blasphemer (Mace)
Attack styleSlow ranged orbsTwo-hit melee string
Dodges3, lower HP4, higher HP and resistances
SustainShields and heals on demandSelf-heal tied to landing hits
Best modeTrio support, PvPSolo, PvE bosses and mobs
WeaknessThin damage vs high-HP targetsPunishing whiffs, mana starvation

Some runes and divine arts are mutually exclusive, so read the tooltips at Camp before you queue. Once the oath is locked, plan the rest of the build around it.

Blasphemer Seer build for solo and PvE

The Blasphemer build wins fights of attrition. You stay in close combat, keep Super Armor active as often as possible, and lean on self-heal to outlast enemies. Zeal is the engine. Activating it raises your Attack and Defense, and the Ferocity talent adds Super Armor on top, which makes you effectively immune to stagger for its duration.

Talents

TalentEffect
FerocityActivating Zeal grants Super Armor, making you near-invincible for a window
RelentlessHitting enemies while Zeal is active extends its duration
Divine PowerGenerates Curse Mana during Zeal
Keen EdgeUsing Shapebreak after Shapeshift raises Magic and Physical damage
VaultIncreases dash distance on Rune – Stun for easier hits

Skills

SkillRole
Rune – Heavy StrikeBasic attack that builds Curse Mana; upgrades to Enchanted Heavy Strike at full gauge
Unleash ZealRaises Attack and Defense, and sustains Super Armor
Rune – DrainDeals damage, heals you, and lowers enemy attack
Rune – StunStuns on hit for a free damage window
ShapeshiftTurns you into a rune to close or create distance without being staggered

Affixes

Blasphemer has few damage sources, so most of your gear should feed damage or extend buff windows. Strife and Fervor push raw damage. Blessing buys extra seconds of Super Armor and every other self-buff. Swift speeds up your enchant chants so you waste less time chaining skills.

AffixWhat it does
StrifeIncreases melee weapon damage, scaling with nearby enemies
BlessingExtends Super Armor and other self-buffs
FervorAdds Physical and Magic damage per hit, up to five stacks
SwiftRaises movement speed while chanting for faster buffs

For endgame PvE gear, the legendary Mace Absolution and the Holy Saint set are strong anchors, with Valor and Tenacious rounding out survivability alongside Strife and Fervor.

Blasphemer combat rotation

Open with Shapeshift to close the gap, then use Shapebreak. Through Keen Edge, this grants your damage buff before the fight even starts.
Land Rune – Stun to cripple the target, then Rune – Drain to heal yourself and weaken their attacks.
Spam Heavy Strike until the Curse Mana gauge fills, then pop Unleash Zeal. Keep hitting so Relentless extends the duration and Super Armor stays up.
If enemies back off during Super Armor, chase with Rune – Stun and Rune – Drain after Zeal to keep the pressure and your health topped up.

You know the loop is working when Zeal shows an active Super Armor icon and stagger effects stop interrupting your swings. The main failure point is running dry on Curse Mana during Zeal, which locks out your heavy skills, so keep Heavy Strike flowing and lean on Divine Power to refill.

Reverent Seer build for Trios

Reverent is the headline support role and the reason coordinated Trios want a Seer at all. You sit in the back line, plant rune constructs, and keep your frontline alive. Your damage meter matters less than uptime on allies and denying the enemy safe ground. Many of these skills scale with your Attack, so offensive stats still improve your heals and shields.

Skills

SkillRole
Punishment RuneTurret that auto-attacks the lowest-HP enemy and fires follow-ups when you hit targets in range
Shelter RuneShields the lowest-HP ally; value scales with your Attack
Binding RuneImmobilizes enemies who try to leave its area, restoring Psionic Energy
Death WardPrevents an ally’s death for 5 seconds and grants Super Armor; can self-target
Windwalker RuneIncreases ally dodge distance and shortens enemy dodge distance (unlocks at level 7)

Psionic Shield is a strong alternative to Windwalker when you want a second on-demand shield with two charges. Healing Art covers emergency team heals, though its casts per match are limited.

Talents

TalentEffect
Potent WoundingCharged basic attack fires an enhanced orb with a higher damage multiplier
Enhanced TrackingAfter two enhanced orbs, the next gains flight speed and tracking
Deep HealingHealing Art heals more the lower the target’s HP
SynergyBoosts Punishment Rune’s follow-up damage based on energy spent
RigidityEnemies stunned when they leave Binding Rune
Potent SanctuaryRaises shield strength, with a bonus from your Magic Damage

Affixes

AffixTargetWhat it does
ValorLevel 7Raises Attack and Defense Penetration, feeding damage, heals, and shields
SeamlessLevel 5Refunds 30% of remaining cooldowns after downing an enemy
EloquenceLevel 6Increases chant speed and blocks minor-impact interrupts
TenaciousLevel 5Raises Max Health and healing received
RangedLevel 7Extends effective range and adds overall damage

For PvP support, Byrnes’s Ash Urn as the weapon and the Holy Saint set pair well, since the urn amplifies your effects and the set opens the gem slots you need for chant speed and cooldown.

How to play Reverent

Drop Punishment Rune first, then chip in with light attacks and charged orbs to trigger its follow-up strikes. Place Shelter Rune between yourself and the frontline so its radius covers both. Use Binding Rune near your position to wall off aggressive melee attackers, and save Death Ward for whoever the enemy is focusing. Hold Healing Art for real emergencies, since Deep Healing makes it far stronger on low-HP allies.

Solo vs Trio: what to expect

In Trios the Seer rates near the top, close to mandatory when a squad wants heals, wards, and zone control during Woodling bursts and portal channels. Solo is the opposite story. Reverent lacks self-coverage and struggles against high-HP NPCs, so if you insist on it alone, extract early and avoid PvP lanes. Blasphemer is the practical solo pick, using Super Armor, self-heal, and stun loops to survive without a team backing you up.

The through-line for both oaths is preparation. Call your oath and stance before the match, match your talents and affixes to that plan, and coordinate extract timing so team saves do not collide with your channels. A Seer that commits early and communicates clearly outperforms one that tries to do everything at once.
