Palworld 1.0: How to Build an Orserk Raid Army for Every Boss

Orserk's stat buff and level 70 Meteorain make a mass-produced electric dragon squad that clears all the game's Ultra raids.

Orserk’s stat buff and level 70 Meteorain make a mass-produced electric dragon squad that clears all the game’s Ultra raids.

Orserk is still the safest single Pal to mass produce for raids in Palworld 1.0. It lost its old breeding chain, but a stat buff and a naturally learned Meteorain keep it strong enough to run against every raid boss in the game, from Bellanoir Libero all the way to Hartalis, as long as you swap its attacks to match each fight.

Quick answer: Breed an army of Orserk with heavy offensive passives (Demon God, Serenity, plus Diamond Body or Immortality for survival), level them to 80, then load each Orserk with the correct element skills for the boss you are summoning and bring the matching support Pals. Swap fresh Orserks in from the Palbox as they fall.

What changed for Orserk in Palworld 1.0

Orserk no longer has a breeding chain that hands it the Legend passive or breeding-exclusive attacks. In exchange, it received a total stat increase of 35 points, split into +20 HP and +15 Defense, and it now learns Meteorain on its own at level 70. That single change matters most for the Xenolord fight, where Meteorain is one of the strongest attacks you can throw.

Orserk’s base stats sit at 120 HP, 130 Attack, and 115 Defense for a total of 365, which keeps it near the top of the pack for a Pal of its size. With research bonuses, condensing, and passives, a level 80 build can reach roughly 5,778 Attack and 3,656 Defense.

You can get Orserk after unlocking the World Tree, where it spawns in the northeast during both day and night. It also hatches from Huge Dragon Eggs and can be bred from two Orserk, or from a Grizzbolt and Relaxaurus pairing. Because it is an Electric Pal, the Awakening crystals you naturally collect around the World Tree make it cheap to awaken and mass produce.

Why Orserk carries raid fights

Orserk’s Dragon and Electric typing gives it the 20% same-element damage bonus on both offensive types and useful resistances. It resists Water, Electric, Dark, and Dragon damage, which covers a large share of what raid bosses throw at you. Its only real weaknesses are Ice and Ground.

Its hitbox is also small for its power, which keeps the army alive against big area attacks like the ones Astralym uses. That combination of small profile, high stats, and broad resistances is why one Pal can be repurposed across every raid instead of breeding a separate counter for each.

The Partner Skill, Ferocious Thunder Dragon, seals the deal. While Orserk is in your party, every bullet you land on an enemy raises the Attack and Defense of your active Pal by up to 5% per stack at max condensation, stacking up to 30 times for a 150% boost. Pairing it with a fast-firing weapon like the Drone Launcher keeps that buff running as long as there are targets on screen.

Best Orserk passives for raids

Since 1.0 removed the Legend breeding route, the strongest reliable attacker build leans on Immortality, Serenity, Demon God, and Diamond Body. Demon God comes from the new Mutation system and gives the biggest flat Attack gain, while Diamond Body and Immortality keep the army standing long enough to clear the timer. Many players run Demon God, Serenity, and Musclehead instead when they prioritize raw damage over survival, and a Jetragon grandparent can still pass Meteorain onto a bred line if you want it earlier than level 70.

Player gear and consumables

Your own loadout keeps the Partner Skill stacks flowing and keeps you alive through boss ultimates. Legendary armor and weapons plus attack-focused accessories do the heavy lifting, while two food buffs and recovery meds cover the rest.

Attack loadouts for each raid boss

Raids run on a strict timer, so the correct element on your Orserks and the right support Pals decide the clear. Set the three active skills per boss before you place the Slab, and bring the listed support Pals to boost your damage against that boss’s weakness.

Raid bossOrserk skillsSupport Pals
Bellanoir Libero (Ultra)Beam Slicer, Fire Ball, Lightning StreakChillet, Blazamut Ryu
Blazamut Ryu (Ultra)Splash, Geyser Gush, Sand TwisterS.S. Azure, Penking Lux
Xenolord (Ultra)Meteorain, Icicle Line, Diamond RainFrostallion, Moldron Cryst B
Moon LordWind Burst, Hydro Slicer, Beam SlicerLovander, Gobfin Ignis, Gobfin, Xenogard
Hartalis (Ultra)Thunderstorm, Lightning Streak, Dark WhispSolmora Lux, Lovander, Univolt

A few boss notes are worth locking in. Xenolord spawns Xenogard and Xenovader adds that overrun your Pals, and its cosmic meteors are why the Phantom Ring is worth the accessory swap. Hartalis changes element mid-fight: phase one is Water and Grass and weak to Electric, then phase two turns Neutral and weak to Dark, so use the pause between phases to swap your base Orserks to the Dark loadout and add Fire to break the barriers it raises.

Tip: Keep spare Orserks in your Palbox during a raid. When one is knocked out or drops low, open Palbox management and drop in a fresh one so the army never thins out before the timer ends.

How to confirm the army worked

A clear ends with a BOSS ELIMINATED banner and a reward drop. Ultra clears hand out materials such as Training Crystals, Diamonds, and Ancient Civilization Parts, along with boss-specific items like the next Slab, boss heads, or schematics. If the timer runs out before the health bar empties, the run fails, which usually means your Orserks were carrying the wrong element or the army was too thin. Match the loadout to the table above and keep swapping in fresh Pals, and Orserk stays viable against every raid in 1.0.
