Big Walk: How to Complete the Red Tower and Unlock Big View

Solve all five Red Tower puzzles, cut the key, and reach the map room that grants the Big View trophy.

Solve all five Red Tower puzzles, cut the key, and reach the map room that grants the Big View trophy.

The Red Tower is the upside-down cone on the hillside that hands you the map in Big Walk. Reaching the map room behind it is what unlocks the Big View trophy, and getting there means clearing five separate puzzles scattered along the shoreline, feeding their rewards into a terminal, and cutting the key it gives you at a series of stations.

Quick answer: Climb to the top of the Red Tower, collect the five puzzle pieces from the Yellow Maze, Green Button Room, Train Station, Basketball Court, and Mountain Overlook, insert them into the terminal for a key, cut that key at all five cutters leading back toward the gym, then slot it into the terminal at the blue tunnel with red stairs to open the map room.

Find the Red Tower and its terminal

After the starting area and the red bridge, you reach the gym, where whiteboards and radio stations are introduced. From there, take the path directly opposite the gym and follow it uphill. The Red Tower is the structure shaped like an upside-down cone, and it is hard to miss against the skyline.

Red Tower Terminal Puzzle Big Walk

Go inside and climb to the top. You will find a terminal holding a key, the same setup you saw in the starting area. This one needs five different items before it releases the key, and that key is what leads to the map.

Red Tower Puzzle Locations Big Walk

Look toward the shoreline from the top and you can spot every puzzle you need to reach. Here is where each of the five pieces comes from.

2Green “Button Room” Puzzle
3Train Station “Timer Cannon” Puzzle
4“Basketball Court” Puzzle
5Mountain Overlook “Gesture” Puzzle

Note: The solutions below assume a two-player run. The logic holds with a partner, but exact timing may shift slightly depending on your team.

Solve the five Red Tower puzzles

Yellow Maze (Piece 1)

Enter the maze and split up. One player takes the left path and the other takes the right path.

The left-path player picks up the wind-up timer and rushes to the nearest hole to hand it across to the right-path player.
The right-path player receives the timer through that hole and quickly places it on the green pot before it runs down.

Green Button Room (Piece 2)

One player goes inside the room and closes the door, while the other stays outside next to the button panel. A walkie-talkie is essential here.

The player inside watches the console and calls out exactly which button lights up. Only they can see it.

The outside player presses the exact button the inside player names, matching each callout until the piece is released.

Train Station Timer Cannon (Piece 3)

This puzzle has a green pot like the maze, plus a cannon that fires a wind-up timer over a long distance. One player stays on the yellow platform to fire the timer.

The second player climbs the rock opposite the yellow platform, catches the fired timer, and throws it back over before it ticks to zero.
The platform player inserts the timer into the green pot in time to claim the piece.

Basketball Court (Piece 4)

This one is the simplest of the set. Both players grab the light-up bulb-balls on the ground and throw them through the basket. Once every light turns green, the piece is released.

Mountain Overlook Gesture (Piece 5)

One player stays at the overlook and uses the telescopes to view five distant platforms, each showing a gesture card. Walkie-talkies and binoculars make this far easier.
The other player travels out to each platform. The overlook player relays the correct gesture, and the platform player performs it using button combinations such as left arm up, right arm up, and crouch, then places the matching gesture card into the rack.
Repeat across all five platforms until every card is correct and the final piece unlocks. This puzzle takes the longest of the group.

Cut the key and open the map room

Red Tower Big Walk
With all five pieces collected, return to the terminal at the top of the Red Tower and insert them. This releases the key.
Head down to the small slot right in front of the Red Tower entrance and insert the key to start shaving and filing it. This is the first of five cutters.
Work through the remaining cutters, which are lined up along the pathway heading down toward the gym. The key must pass through each one in order. Skipping ahead to the last cutter will not work, since every cut has to be applied first.
After the final cutter, take the fully shaped key to the terminal at the top of the blue tunnel with red stairs and slot it in. The door opens and leads into the map room, which completes the Big View trophy.

You will know it worked when the tunnel door unlocks and you step inside to a full-scale diorama of the entire Big Walk map. Locations you have already finished are marked with a flag on the pole, while unfinished ones show a bare pole. On a nearby bench you can also pick up a foldable map and a compass to carry for directions and coordinate-based puzzles as you keep exploring.
