In AION 2, level-65 Executor Kaira holds Hero rank and occupies one fixed spawn on Sulfur Tree Island, within Chaotic Lower Reshanta. This Cogni foe aggroes as soon as you enter its range. Each takedown awards a guaranteed Kaira Unique item and the same set of crafting stones before any percentage-based drops are determined.
Quick answer: Executor Kaira spawns on Sulfur Tree Island in Chaotic Lower Reshanta at 21:30 server time on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Every defeat yields all three refining stones and one of nine Kaira Unique items.
Executor Kaira location and spawn schedule
The encounter takes place on Sulfur Tree Island, a floating island in the Abyss’s Chaotic Lower Reshanta map. Kaira’s appearance isn’t triggered by a timer that begins after its death. Instead, the boss follows a set weekly schedule, so use the clock to plan your run.
- Region: Chaotic Lower Reshanta, Sulfur Tree Island
- Level 65, Hero rank, Cogni creature type
- Spawn days: Monday, Thursday, Saturday
- Spawn time: 21:30 server time, 30 minutes after the Artifact Siege opens at 21:00
On the global servers the times follow each region’s own server clock, so EU Siel runs on Central European time, NA East on Eastern, and NA West on Pacific. Opening the Abyss map and placing a marker on the island before the window lets you fly straight to the spawn when it goes live.

Executor Kaira may not yet be active on every server, so confirm it is live on your region before building a raid schedule around it.

Add to Google Preferences →How the drop rolls work
Executor Kaira has 79 potential drops distributed among multiple separate rolls. Certain rewards are guaranteed on each kill, while others depend on a percentage chance. Since the rolls can all pay out together, one defeat may grant the fixed stones and Kaira item as well as bonus gear.
| Drop pool | Items possible | Chance per kill |
|---|---|---|
| Kaira item (Unique) | 9 | 100% |
| Unique armor piece | 7 | 25% |
| Unique weapon | 9 | 10.05% |
| Epic armor piece | 7 | 81.27% |
| Epic weapon | 9 | 32.65% |
| Rare armor piece | 7 | Always |
| Rare weapon | 9 | 80.68% |
| Common armor piece | 7 | Always |
| Common weapon | 9 | Always |
The named gear comes from the Unique pool. A Kaira item is guaranteed with each kill, chosen from nine possibilities; Fallen Ancient God gear instead depends on the 25% armor chance or the 10.05% weapon chance.

Materials on every kill
Every kill includes three refining stones, giving Kaira a steady supply of materials regardless of the gear outcome. Independent rolls determine whether you receive the Watcher Kaira artwork or Balaur’s Essence.
| Item | Grade | Chance per kill |
|---|---|---|
| Common | Every kill | |
| Rare | Every kill | |
| Epic | Every kill | |
| Epic | 43.4% | |
| Unique | 25% |
Balaur’s Essence feeds into Draconic gear and the refining stones go straight into crafting. Artwork: Watcher Kaira is a pantheon decoration, not a combat item.
Armor and weapon rates by slot
Common Earth and Rare Vagabond armor use identical chances for each slot. Gloves, boots and cloaks have the highest appearance rates, whereas breastplates have the lowest in both sets.
| Armor slot | Earth (Common) | Vagabond (Rare) |
|---|---|---|
| Gloves | 17.3% | 17.3% |
| Boots | 17.3% | 17.3% |
| Cloak | 17.3% | 17.3% |
| Helm | 13.9% | 13.9% |
| Pauldrons | 13.9% | 13.9% |
| Greaves | 11.6% | 11.6% |
| Breastplate | 8.7% | 8.7% |
Weapons use a flat chance within each tier. Every Earth weapon lands at 11.1%, every Vagabond weapon at 9.0%, and the Epic-grade Vowed weapons at 3.6% each, making them the hardest pulls from this boss.
Which Executor Kaira gear is worth keeping
Kaira Unique set
The Kaira set is the reason to farm the boss. One of its nine Unique pieces drops on every kill, covering breastplate, greaves, helm, pauldrons, gloves, boots, cloak, earrings and a ring. Kaira Gloves and Kaira Boots each land at 12.9%, so the smaller slots show up fairly often across repeated runs.
Fallen Ancient God pieces
Fallen Ancient God gear is the second Unique collection, awarded through separate armor and weapon rolls with chances of 25% and 10.05%, respectively. Its lineup includes a complete armor set and all weapon categories: greatsword, longsword, dagger, bow, spellbook, orb, mace, staff and guard. A kill can therefore yield a Unique weapon as an extra alongside the guaranteed Kaira item.
Vowed weapons
The Vowed weapons are item level 38 Epics with a required level of 35, each dropping at 3.6%. They enchant up to +10 and carry three manastone slots plus one theostone slot. By max attack, the Vowed Greatsword at 221 ranks 17th among 83 greatswords, the Vowed Longsword at 192 ranks 17th among 83 longswords, and the Vowed Dagger at 173 ranks 17th among 83 daggers. The slot leaders sit far higher, topping out at 604 on the Ludra and Splendent Dragon Lord greatswords.
Rank rewards
Taking part in the fight earns Proof of Hero: Lower Reshanta (Bound). All contribution placements qualify for 2 tokens, including the first two ranks and every rank through number 1,000. Deal damage during the encounter to receive the currency.
The fight turns into open PvP
Killing Kaira is only half of what happens at the spawn. Because the boss sits in contested Abyss territory, the moment it dies the clearing routinely erupts into faction and guild PvP directly over the arena. Players who stacked up for the kill immediately turn on each other, and the same large-scale fighting flares around the other Executor bosses on the same schedule.

Ring accelerators strung between the floating islands grant a large flight and movement speed boost, letting players chain-glide across the Abyss to contest a second boss while the first arena is still fighting. A Templar running this route can clear Kaira, disengage, and reach Executor Argo across the map in under a minute of flight.

If you die and release to a distant base such as Latesran Western Root while the boss is near death, you can miss participation and loot eligibility if it dies before you fly back. Dying to an enemy player and respawning far away is a real way to lose the kill credit entirely.

The other Executor bosses on the same schedule
Kaira shares its 21:30 Monday, Thursday and Saturday window with two sibling bosses in Chaotic Lower Reshanta, which is why players hop between arenas with the flight rings. All three are level 65, Hero rank, and hand out the same refining stones on every kill.
| Boss | Area | Signature drop | Vowed weapon rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sulfur Tree Island | Artwork: Watcher Kaira (25%) | 3.6% | |
| Archipelago of Siel’s Wings | Artwork: Argo, the Spirit King (25%) | 8.8% | |
| Reshanta’s Root | Artwork: Executor Tamasa (25%) | 8.8% |
Executor Argo is the odd one out as a Natura-type rather than Cogni, and it drops the Fallen Ancient God weapon and shield line. Its arena draws the same multi-faction scramble as Kaira’s, so arriving late — after a death and a long flight back — often means the boss is already down and the reward popup never appears.

Treat Executor Kaira as a short, scheduled window rather than a farmable grind. Mark the island ahead of time, arrive for the 21:30 start, land enough damage to secure your contribution rank for the Proof of Hero tokens and the guaranteed Kaira Unique piece, then decide whether to defend the arena or ring-glide to Argo and Tamasa before their timers close.
