Fine Ruby Gemstone is a higher-grade material pulled from the same red crystal deposits that give ordinary Ruby Gemstone. There is no separate “Fine” node to hunt down. Instead, every standard Ruby deposit carries a chance to hand you the better version when you harvest it, and Verteron has a dependable one tucked under the Verteron Fortress Ruins.

Quick answer: Fine Ruby Gemstone has a random chance to drop from any Ruby Gemstone deposit. A reliable node sits on the cliff ledge directly below Verteron Fortress Ruins, just east of Krais Cave, harvested with Essence Extraction.

How Fine Ruby Gemstone drops

Any Ruby Gemstone deposit in the world can yield Fine Ruby Gemstone. The roll is random, so a single node will sometimes give the standard material and sometimes the fine one. Because the chance is tied to the deposit itself and not to a special spawn, the fastest way to farm it is to find a Ruby node you can reach quickly and repeat the route as nodes respawn.

Verteron is dense with gathering nodes, and Ruby is one of the less common minerals in the region, so a known deposit near a teleport is worth memorizing rather than wandering the map hoping for a roll.

Essence Extraction requirement

Harvesting Ruby Gemstone requires the Essence Extraction gathering skill. You interact with the deposit, and each attempt either succeeds or fails. A failed attempt does not destroy the node, so you simply try again until it is harvested. In the demonstration shown here, the character is working at Essence Extraction Proficiency Novice Lv. 36, which is enough to mine this node even though individual attempts can still miss.

Reaching the Ruby node below Verteron Fortress Ruins

The deposit sits on a narrow rock outcrop on the cliff face, below the ruins and east of Krais Cave. You reach it by dropping off the ruins ledge and gliding down onto the ledge where the red crystal glows.

In Verteron, head to Verteron Fortress Ruins. Open the map and zoom in on the area south of Verteron Fortress, extending west toward Krais Cave; take the closest teleport to reach the spot.
Cross the ruins until you reach the cliff on the west, above the valley leading toward Krais Cave. The node is below the plateau, right at the edge of the drop.
Leap from the ledge, then glide to the rocky projection beside the cliff face. Partway down, look for the red Ruby Gemstone deposit tucked against the rock.

Stand next to the deposit and press the interact key (F) to begin Essence Extraction. If the attempt fails, press F again and repeat until the node is harvested.

Confirming the harvest worked

A successful extraction shows a Success prompt and drops the material into your bag, while a missed attempt reads “Essence Extraction failed” and leaves the node standing. When it works you will see the item acquired message and your Essence Extraction Proficiency tick up. Fine Ruby Gemstone appears only on the lucky rolls, so a run that gives standard Ruby Gemstone still counts as a working node. Reopen the world map afterward and the pin should sit southwest of Verteron Fortress Ruins and east of Krais Cave, confirming you harvested the right deposit.

Once you have the route down, this node becomes a short, repeatable loop, and since the fine drop can come from any Ruby deposit, folding a second or third Ruby spot into the same circuit raises your odds across a gathering session.
