Update 21 of Anime Adventures, the Roblox anime tower defense game, is live as “Summer 2026 + Return”. The game shows it as “UPD 21.0.0”. It adds nine units. Three are Secret and limited-time: Sky God, Phoenix and Explosion Mage. Six are Mythic. Each one comes from one of four places: a portal, the Sunny Stars capsules, the Infinity Mansion or the featured summon on the lobby board.
Quick answer: Sky God and Explosion Mage drop from their own portals. Phoenix, Fishi, Armored Crusader and Water Goddess come from Sunny Stars. Troy Flame is in the Infinity Mansion. Word Mage and Crush are featured summons.

All stats below are base stats at placement. That means level 1, before any upgrades. Every one of the nine units also has a shiny version. The same evolution items work on the shiny form, but you need the shiny unit itself. Evolving a unit raises only its damage. Range, cooldown and cost stay the same.
Secret units
Sky God
Sky God is a limited-time Secret that you get from the Sky God’s Portal. The route there starts with the Summer Event. Find Sky Portals to climb up to Sky Island, and clear Sky Portals for a chance at a Secret portal. The update log puts it as “Clear Sky Portals for a chance at a Secret portal… the Sky God awaits!” and also says to challenge the Sky God himself for a chance at the new Secret unit.
- Base stats: 571 damage, 22 range, 7 s cooldown, 1,400 cost
- Damage type: Magic, secondary Lightning
- Sky God (Rumble) evolves with “+15% Attack, +Skyfall, +Storm Ark”; its base damage is 657.

Phoenix
Phoenix is the Secret inside Sunny Stars. These are the summer capsules that you open with Summer Pearls. The update log reads “New Limited-Time Secret Unit: Phoenix! Found in Sunny Stars!”
- Base stats: 810 damage, 25 range, 8 s cooldown, 1,500 cost
- Damage type: Physical, secondary Fire
- Phoenix (Mythic Flames) evolves with “+30% Attack, +Phoenix Flames, +Phoenix Burst, +Phoenix Dive, +Reincarnation”; its base damage is 1,053.
- Evolution materials and progress: Phoenix x1, Phoenix Belt x1, and 7,500 takedowns
Explosion Mage
Explosion Mage is a limited-time Secret that drops from the Explosion Mage’s Portal. It has the highest base damage of the nine new units. It also has the shortest range of the three Secrets and the highest cost.

- Explosion Mage (Archdemon) evolves with “+20% Attack, +Explosion 100%”; its base damage is 1,080.

Sunny Stars Mythics: Fishi, Armored Crusader and Water Goddess
Each capsule can hold a skin or one of the new units. The Sunny Star description reads “4 exclusive units and 9 different skins possible”. Those four units are the three limited-time Mythics below and Phoenix. Each Mythic needs its own evolution item plus 7,500 takedowns.

Fishi evolves into Fishi (Obsession), “+25% Attack, +Sightless Maw, +Drowning”. Its evolved base damage is 962.5. You need Captain’s Hat x1 to evolve it.
Armored Crusader evolves into Armored Crusader (Noble), “+25% Attack, +Decoy, +Noble Sacrifice”. Its evolved base damage is 937.5. You need Crusader Sword x1 to evolve it. Its placement cost is the lowest of the nine new units.
Water Goddess evolves into Water Goddess (Holy), “+35% Attack, +Torrent Prayer, +Goddess Presence”. Its evolved base damage is 648. You need Lotus Scepter x1 to evolve it. Its range is the longest of the new units.
Troy Flame: Infinity Mansion
Troy Flame is the new Infinity Mansion unit this season. If you haven’t entered the mode yet, the lobby shows a pop-up that reads “Don’t Miss Out! You haven’t tried the Infinity Mansion this season! Try now?”
- Base stats: 620 damage, 22 range, 7.5 s cooldown, 1,350 cost
- Damage type: Magic, secondary Fire
- Troy Flame (Rage) evolves with “+35% Attack, +Chain Combustion, +Snap”; its base damage is 837.
- Requires: 1x Troy Flame and Arcane Igniter x1, with no takedown requirement
Featured summons: Word Mage and Crush
The lobby board lists “Featured Units:” Word Mage, Crush and Lilia, all Mythic. It also shows “2x Mythic Chance!” for that summon. Word Mage and Crush are the two new units on the board.
Word Mage

- Damage type: Magic, secondary Light
- Word Mage (Script) evolves with “+50% Attack, +Writing: Black Hole, +Word Enchantment”; its base damage is 675.
- Evolution materials and progress: Word Mage x1, Wordy Book x1, and 7,500 takedowns
Crush
Crush has a placement limit of 4. Its evolution needs no takedowns, but it does need ten Magical Artifacts on top of its main evolution item.
