Aniimo: Come Out, Floret Side Quest Walkthrough

Track the clue, catch one of each Iris regional form across Breezy Plains, and claim the Life Force Seed from Clovis.

Track the clue, catch one of each Iris regional form across Breezy Plains, and claim the Life Force Seed from Clovis.

Aniimo’s Journey side mission Come Out, Floret focuses on Clovis, a flower-farming boy in Bloomville who hopes to see every regional Iris variety. Combat is barely involved; the main task is finding each form across Breezy Plains and catching one of each before returning.

Quick answer: Start by tracking the Clue: A Little Flower? and speaking with Clovis in Bloomville; catch one specimen of each of the six Iris forms in Breezy Plains, then revisit him to finish the quest and claim the Life Force Seed.

Before you start: level and capture rules

The recommended progression for this quest is Wayfarer I (level cap 45). Two of the forms, the Plateau and Highland variants, spawn at high levels, and catching an Aniimo that far above your own level with a regular Aniipod is close to impossible. Staying within about ten levels of your target keeps captures realistic.

  • Only the six regional forms count. The Iris also has a Prismana form, but it is not part of this objective.
  • An Iris you caught and released earlier won’t qualify. Keep all six forms together in your box or party at the same time.
  • You can guarantee a high-level catch with an Aniipod Ultra or a Sparkling Cube, but that is wasteful. Leveling up first is the cleaner route.

Start the quest with Clovis in Bloomville

In your journal, set Clue: A Little Flower? as tracked. The quest has no automatic opening cutscene, so tracking the clue adds its destination marker to your map.
Travel to the marked spot in Bloomville, inside the Sea of Flowers area. During the day, Clovis crouches over an empty patch of ground in front of his cottage. Speak to him to accept the commission to catch six Irises, each in a different regional form.

Before you set off, open the Iris habitat index so you can plan a route. Some forms share a region, so a single stop can knock out more than one.

All six Iris regional form locations

Every Iris form can be found in Breezy Plains, and one of each is enough. Beast Fang Ridge has the Plateau and Mountain Woods forms, while the Forest of Falling Stars has the Basic and Forest forms. Each stop yields two varieties.

Iris (Basic Form) — Sea of Flowers

Head to the pink flower field on the hillside above Bloomville. The pink Basic Form Iris stands out clearly against the grass. This is the closest form to Clovis, so it makes a natural first catch.

Iris (Grassland Form)

The Grassland Form spreads across several regions, so pick whichever is nearest. It appears in Nimbus Fields, Mistwoods, The Argent Strait, and Blitzwood. These Irises live in open grassland and gather tufts of wool on their petals while bathing in the sun.

Iris (Forest Form) — Forest of Falling Stars

Fast travel to the Forest of Falling Stars and look toward the northwestern side of the region. The Forest Form is blue and blends into the grass, so watch for the capture reticle to confirm your target before you throw.

Iris (Mountain Woods Form) — Beast Fang Ridge

The purple Mountain Woods Form appears at Beast Fang Ridge, near the rock formations, and can also be found in Berylline Vale. Since Beast Fang Ridge also holds the Plateau Form, plan to grab both while you are there.

Iris (Plateau Form) — Driftwise Meadow

The Plateau Form has dark blue petals dotted with fine snow. Search the lake area of Driftwise Meadow to find it. This is a high-level spawn, so make sure your team is close in level before attempting the catch.

Iris (Highland Form) — Russet Highlands

The maple-red Highland Form lives high in the Russet Highlands, around the waterfall area. Reach it by climbing up from Berylline Vale. This is the other high-level form, so save it for when your levels are ready.

Return to Clovis and finish the quest

After you have all six forms in your box, return to Bloomville and speak with Clovis again. In the cutscene, he draws Floret up from the ground. Floret is a Budclaw with a head covered in pink roses, which bloomed after it sunbathed near the dancing Irises.

The journal’s finished status for Come Out, Floret, along with the reward notification, confirms completion. One of the rewards is the rare Curio, the Life Force Seed.

The Iris forms are close enough to collect on one circuit of Breezy Plains. This makes the quest an easy detour while you’re already in the area working on other objectives.
