Aniimo’s battle pass is called the Companion Handbook. It uses two parallel reward rows, a format common to live-service games. All players have access to the free row, while the paid row adds creatures, materials, and storage. Since Aniimo costs nothing to play, the pass is optional; the main consideration is whether its paid rewards justify the price.
Quick answer: Choose the Advanced Edition ($9.99) for the paid resources and Prismana Fulmintis Egg. Get the Collector’s Edition ($19.99) as well only if the cosmetics and immediate level boost appeal to you. Playing the game earns everything else.

Advanced and Collector’s provide the same gameplay rewards. Collector’s adds cosmetics and convenience to that paid row, so Advanced costs roughly half as much for players seeking only the resources and Prismana Fulmintis.
The $4.99 Monthly Pass is a separate purchase; it does not open the paid Handbook row and is distinct from both paid editions.
The paid Handbook stays purchasable after launch through the console stores or the official Aniimo shop once your account is linked. The platform pre-order accessories are tied only to the pre-order bundles, and that pre-order window has already closed.
Edition and Handbook level are separate values
Keep two measures in mind when checking rewards: your edition determines which ones are available, while your Handbook level reflects your progress. Companion EXP moves you through reward milestones; it is separate from both your Pathfinder level and your Aniimo level.
Two players can both sit at Handbook level 20 while claiming completely different rows, one on Standard and one on Advanced. Paying for an edition unlocks access to the paid row. Earning EXP is what actually delivers each reward at its milestone.
Prismana Fulmintis is the one reward you cannot grind
The standout reward in the pass is Prismana Fulmintis, along with its evolution material, Soul of Electric Shock. You can get both only with the Advanced or Collector’s edition. It hatches at perfect potential, resists a range of elements, and has a skill that boosts its critical-hit rate by 25% for 10 seconds. Its strengths carry over to both combat and exploration, placing it among the game’s top Aniimo.
The Fulmintis egg lands at the level 20 milestone on the paid track, while the free track gives a random Perfect Egg at the same level. A base Fulmintis is obtainable outside the pass, but only an Epic-grade version, and the branching evolution can only be unlocked with Soul of Electric Shock from the paid row. It is still one creature out of a roster of more than 200, and if you just want a strong Prismana form, others such as Prismana Glacy can be claimed for free through the Prismana Pact.
Other paid-track rewards worth knowing
Beyond the Fulmintis, three things carry the rest of the paid row’s value. Most other items, including Psyche Fruit, Tumblers, and the various Aniipods, can be earned through Elite Training missions or the Item Exchange shop.
- Sparkling Cube Aniipod — the second-rarest reward, used when hatching eggs. It guarantees an Aniimo’s potential to be Perfect and always Sparkling, and used on an already-Perfect Aniimo it raises the chance of Innate Potential attributes exceeding 8.
- Extra storage — Advanced adds 5 boxes and Collector’s adds 10, increasing how many captured creatures you can keep. Whether the added space remains after a season ends is unconfirmed.
- Cosmetics — Collector’s adds a Phantom Night Doll backpack appearance and the Fulmintis Avatar Frame. These give no stat bonuses.
As you gain levels, the remaining paid-track rewards arrive in sequence: Credit, Glimmer, Flux Crystal, Starsand, several Aniipod types, Growth Fruit, Capafruit, Sparkling Crystal, Phenomena Crystal, Breezy Plains Dewdrop Crystal, Starcryst Essence, Vein Essence, an Advanced Held Item Core, Radiant Dreamshadow, and Mark of the Strong: Breezy Plains. The free track has milestone rewards as well, with an Incredible Fulmintis Egg at level 10; it will hatch an Aniimo with at least Elite potential.
Activating Collector’s immediately adds 10 Handbook levels and a larger 10-slot storage bonus. These extras offer convenience and cosmetics; its gameplay rewards match those in Advanced.
Rules that change what your purchase is worth
A few details are important, particularly when you have multiple redemption items. The Handbook is an inventory item; use it to activate that version period’s tier. The activation remains in effect until the version ends.
- Advanced and Collector’s cannot both be active during one version period; choose one paid tier.
- Unused redemption items wait for a later version: they cannot be combined during the same period, and they do not expire.
- If you have an active Advanced pass and want Collector’s during that same period, you must pay for an upgrade. Storefronts process it as a refund instead of charging only the price difference.
- The Prismana egg exclusive to the Handbook may change from one version to another, so the version’s timing determines which creature you receive.
Check the current pass’s Prismana egg before using a saved Handbook. Redemption grants the egg featured at that time, regardless of which egg appeared when you purchased the pack.
The Monthly Pass is a separate $4.99 purchase
The $4.99 Monthly Pass unlocks nothing on the Companion Handbook. Think of it as a 30-day subscription. On purchase you instantly get 330 Lumin Crystals, a doubled Primegy cap, and a 2-hour hatch-time reduction on every egg and Hatchinator. Each daily login then delivers 100 Glimmer and 200 Companion EXP.
Over the full month that adds up to 3,000 Glimmer and 6,000 Companion EXP. Missed days are stored for 5 days on the Monthly Pass Daily Reward Storage screen and forfeited after that, so claim them manually. You can stack up to 180 days for $15. The purchase is non-refundable and cannot be shared across characters on the account. Since Glimmer and Companion EXP are already plentiful, and weekend Hatch Haste events cover the hatch-time benefit, its value is modest.
How to confirm your purchase activated
You’ll know activation succeeded when the Companion Handbook menu makes the paid reward row available and the claimed egg appears in your inventory. Pre-order accessories go to the in-game mailbox for the first character created on the purchasing console account; activate them manually from your inventory.
The Companion Handbook is worth buying if you value the paid resources and the perfect-potential Prismana Fulmintis, since that creature is the one reward you cannot simply grind for. For most players the Advanced Edition is the sensible pick, delivering the gameplay rewards without the cosmetic premium. Skip both and you lose nothing essential, because the base game is free and the open world lets you catch and perfect creatures on your own.
