Idyll is big, and even with a fast creature to Twine into, crossing it on foot gets old. Aniimo’s answer is a network of fast-travel points scattered across the map, anchored by checkpoints called Blooms. Once you know how they work, moving between regions stops being a chore.
Quick answer: Walk up to a Bloom and interact with it to unlock it permanently, then open your map, hover over any unlocked point, and select Teleport to travel there instantly for free.
Unlock a Bloom before you can teleport to it
Blooms are checkpoints placed at strategic spots all over the map, so you’re rarely far from a major location. Each one has to be activated once before it becomes a valid destination. Walk up to a Bloom and interact with it, and it stays unlocked permanently from that point on.
There’s no cost attached to the system. Fast travel carries no fee or charge, so you can use it as often as you like once your destinations are unlocked.
How to fast travel from the map
You’ll know it worked when the loading transition completes and you spawn at the chosen location. If the Teleport option isn’t available on a point, that spot hasn’t been unlocked yet and you’ll need to reach it on foot first.
When you’re hunting a specific creature, use View Distribution to see its spawn markers, then fast travel to the nearest unlocked point to close most of the distance instead of walking the whole way.
Blooms also heal your party
Beyond travel, Blooms restore the HP of you and your party. That matters because on-demand recovery is limited. Healing generally comes only from specific Aniimo and character abilities, so it can be slow to come by in the field.
Because of that, a Bloom doubles as a reliable place to top off between fights. If your team is running low, teleporting to a Bloom is often faster than trying to grind back health through skills.
Other destinations you can travel to
Blooms aren’t the only valid endpoints. You can also fast travel to other key points of interest, such as an Outpost. The process is identical in every case: open the map, hover over the location, and select Teleport if it’s already been unlocked.
