Aniimo: How to Get the Shining Sherro Egg

In Aniimo, the Shining Sherro Egg is a Legendary egg whose hatch always produces an Aniimo whose potential is Perfect. Rather than requiring a grind or a gamble, the game gives you a Perfect, Shining creature here at no cost. However, the egg comes as part of a selection, and that selection can be made only once.

Quick answer: Progress Elite Training to earn the Custom Egg Box (DPS) on the first track of the Core Courses, then open it from your Inventory and select the Shining Sherro Egg.

Where the Custom Egg Box (DPS) comes from

The Shining Sherro Egg is not something you find in the open world or buy from a vendor. It is packed inside the Custom Egg Box (DPS), which sits on the first track of the Core Courses in the Elite Training tab. Advancing that first track is the only thing standing between you and the egg.

The box is a one-time reward per account. Once you claim it and make your pick, there is no way to earn a second one, and no other in-game method currently produces a Perfect, Shining Sherro. If you want this exact creature in the early game, this box is the route.

Redeem the box and choose Sherro

Reach the first track of the Core Courses reward line in Elite Training so the Custom Egg Box (DPS) lands in your inventory.

Open your Inventory and redeem the Custom Egg Box (DPS). Opening it presents a choice of three eggs.

Pick the Shining Sherro Egg. The box offers Sherro, Thornblade, or Scorchhowl, and every option is both Perfect and Shining, so the decision comes down to which Aniimo you want most.

You can only take one of the three eggs, and the choice is permanent. Sherro is the rarest of the trio and cannot be obtained as a Perfect, Shining variant any other way right now, which makes it the strongest pick for most players.

Hatch the egg at the Hatchinator

Travel to the Breezy Plains Outpost and interact with the Hatchinator. The egg can also be placed in the Home Hatchinator if you prefer.

Place the Shining Sherro Egg in the middle slot to start incubation. The hatch takes 5 hours to complete.

Once incubation finishes, collect the hatched Sherro, put it in an Aniipod, and it is ready to use in battle.

You will know it worked when the egg leaves the Hatchinator as a hatched Sherro that you can assign to an Aniipod. Because the egg is guaranteed Perfect and Shining, the resulting Aniimo carries Perfect potential and the Shining appearance without any additional rolls.

What you get with Sherro

As a Water-only Aniimo, Sherro specializes in close-quarters offense. Its conch and clam function as sword and shield, while the Ultimate creates a gigantic water blade, then drives it into the ground; enemies in its route take heavy damage. This puts Sherro among the better mid-game DPS choices in its category, a consideration when choosing between it, Thornblade, and Scorchhowl.
