Buy the Epic-quality Morph Orb from the Glimmer shop, then swap any Aniimo into a form you already own.

Buy the Epic-quality Morph Orb from the Glimmer shop, then swap any Aniimo into a form you already own.

In Aniimo, the Morph Orb is an Epic-rarity Change Form item. It allows a creature to take on alternate forms you have acquired, without another evolution or a new catch. Purchase one using Glimmer; it can be used for every form other than the Prismana Form.

Quick answer: Open the Shop, go to Item > Glimmer, and buy the Morph Orb for 300 Glimmer (up to 10 per week). Then open Aniimo Management (P), pick a creature, choose Change Form, select an owned form, and confirm.

What the Morph Orb does and its limits

Use a Morph Orb to turn an Aniimo into a form you have already secured for that creature type. The item only switches among forms in your collection: it neither grants a new form nor evolves the Aniimo. You cannot use it to apply the Prismana Form.

According to its in-game description, the Polaris Institute fashioned the orb from Prismana Orbs to investigate how surroundings affect Aniimo forms. An Aniimo uses the energy held inside to alter its appearance.

Without an alternate form obtained for that creature, there is no destination for the orb to switch to, so Change Form stays hidden.

Where to buy the Morph Orb with Glimmer

The Outpost’s Glimmer shop stocks Morph Orbs, and you can access it through the menu from anywhere without traveling there. Each orb costs 300 Glimmer, and the weekly limit is 10.

Click the bag icon at the HUD’s upper-right to bring up the Shop, or use F7. The store screen displays its items and prices along with a Buy button.

Click the Glimmer category on the left-hand menu. This shows every item that can be bought with Glimmer currency.

Glimmer itself is a rare currency scattered across Idyll. You can earn it through Elite Training, Daily Activity Quests, Branch Defeat, Alphas, completing quests, Curios, Bond Level, the Holo-Battle Sim, the Companion Handbook, and Chests.

How to use a Morph Orb to change an Aniimo’s form

Once you own at least one alternate form for a creature, applying the orb takes only a few clicks. The orb is spent the moment you confirm the change.

Press P to bring up Aniimo Management, and choose the Aniimo you plan to alter.
Go to the information tab, identified by an exclamation-point icon, and select Change Form. It becomes available only once you’ve obtained another form for that Aniimo.
Use the dropdown in the pop-up to choose a form already unlocked for the creature.
Select Confirm and the form change takes effect.

How to confirm the swap worked

Once you confirm, one Morph Orb is used and your Aniimo instantly takes on the selected form. The immediate change in appearance shows that the swap has worked. The orbs stack and cost little Glimmer, so keeping several ready lets you adjust a creature’s element, role, or appearance to fit your next fight.
