Aniimo’s first season starts the moment the game goes live on September 16 on PC and consoles, with the mobile version following on September 23. The opening stretch is dense: a season pass, three repeating event slots, two Legendary story events, and a pair of short buff windows that make rare Prismana easier to find and eggs faster to hatch. On top of that sits the Sparkling system, which now splits into three distinct visual styles with published probabilities.
Quick answer: Season 1 runs September 16 through October 28 under the Journey Handbook. Sparkling comes in three styles, with Common at 99% and Dazzling or Shadow capped at 1%.

Add to Google Preferences →Free starting rewards: Prismana Promise and Set Out, Pathfinder!
Prismana Promise is the headline giveaway and it never rotates out. You pick one Prismana Form Aniimo, receive it as an egg, and hatch it once you clear the level gate at level 40. The selection screen has covered names including Turbo, Scorchhowl, Stellarys, Cornet, Blazen, Thornblade, Luminelle, Pawney, Panpanta, Glacy, Grizbo, and Magmarex, with Witchin also shown in the launch reward lineup.
Set Out, Pathfinder! is the plain daily login track, running seven days for anyone starting fresh. It hands out early progression items such as Ultrapods, Sparkling Pods, and a legendary carried item. Pre-registration rewards, including a Susuta egg and the outfit and avatar frame milestones, are claimed through the official Aniimo site or in-game once you’ve made a character.

Journey Handbook: the Season 1 pass
The Journey Handbook, also labelled the Companion Handbook in-game, is the season pass and the spine of Season 1. It runs the full September 16 to October 28 window and carries both a free track and a paid Collector’s tier. Progress comes from weekly quests and version quests rather than raw playtime, so the pass rewards clearing objectives over grinding.

The rotating Season 1 events and what each one asks for
Who’s That Aniimo?
A photography hunt. The game gives you a clue or silhouette, and you have to track down the matching creature in the world and photograph it. It fills three slots across the season, so missing the first run is not fatal.

Idyll Ecological Investigation
This one needs actual captures, not photos. Four species are designated per run, with Pomegg, Hummin, Skippy, and Iris among them, and you need to catch three of the four to complete the research and claim rewards.
Glamour Star
Starting September 25, Glamour Star is a dress-up contest scored against a target. You equip accessories on an Aniimo until the outfit clears the required score threshold, working within whatever rules the round sets. Accessories come from the Aniilog collection track and from the accessory shop.

Aniimo Discovery: Dazmand
Dazmand is a branching evolution, and this two-week event exists to get one into your roster. You spend nurture stones to trigger a Dazmand swarm in a set area, then work through 12 research missions tied to those spawns. You get three free spawns every three days, which sets the pace of the whole event.
Legendary Journey events and the Irisalis rework
The Legendary hunt has been rebuilt. The old loop asked you to throw pods at a Legendary over and over until one stuck, and beta feedback pushed back hard on it. What replaced it is deterministic: you collect Legendary tokens through world exploration and story progression, craft a Legendary Aniipod at the crafting station, then trigger a one-time encounter. Beat the creature in combat, throw the crafted pod, and the catch is secured.
Trail of Butterfly Shadow is the short lead-in, running September 16 to 25. Walking with Irisalis is the main event and stays open until December 9, which gives it far more breathing room than anything else in Season 1. Tracing the Trail, a notice-style event from September 20, sits alongside both as preparation.

Vein Abundance and Eggceleration boost windows
Vein Abundance raises nurturing effects to push up the spawn rate of rare random Prismana. The featured creature rotates weekly through Glyncera, Melloblum, Waleetle, and Inferlupa, and the run closes with a Prismana Carnival covering the set. If you are hunting a specific Prismana form, these are the windows worth clearing your schedule for.
Eggceleration, shown in some builds as Hatch Faster, cuts incubation times during its window. The useful detail is that the reduction applies to eggs already sitting in the incubator, not just new ones, so there is no reason to hold eggs back waiting for it to start.
Sparkling styles: Common, Dazzling, and Shadow odds
Sparkling is the rare glittering trait any Aniimo can carry, and it now resolves into one of three styles. Common is the standard version and lands almost every time. Dazzling and Shadow are the rare payouts, and which one you can even roll depends on how you applied the trait.
| Method | Common | Dazzling | Shadow |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sparkling Cube on a wild Aniimo | 99% | 1% | 0% |
| Sparkling Cube on a non-Umbral Egg | 99% | 1% | 0% |
| Sparkling Cube on an Umbral Egg | 99% | 0% | 1% |
| Sparkling Sigil | 99% | 0.50% | 0.50% |
| Sparkling Pigment | 99% | 0.50% | 0.50% |
The split is the part that matters. Shadow is locked behind Umbral Eggs when you are using a Sparkling Cube, and a Cube thrown at a wild creature or a normal egg can never produce it. Sigils and Pigments are the only routes that can roll either rare style, but they halve the odds on each to do it, so the total rare chance stays at 1% no matter which path you take.
A Sparkling Cube guarantees both the catch and the Sparkling trait on any Aniimo. You can exchange 100 Sparkling Crystals for one at an outpost vendor, and the launch events hand out Cubes for free.
You’ll know a Sparkling application worked immediately: the creature’s coat carries the glittering finish, and the style label appears on its entry in Aniimo Management. Pigment exists specifically to change a style you already have, so a Common result is not permanent if you are chasing Dazzling or Shadow.
Read as a whole, Season 1 front-loads the free stuff and back-loads the Legendary content. The first week is the login track, the Journey Handbook, Eggceleration, and the first Vein Abundance window, all of which reward simply showing up. Walking with Irisalis stays open until December, so the pressure is on the short repeating events rather than the story ones.
