Warrior is a Journey quest in Aniimo that runs through the Russet Highlands and ends with a Helmut evolving into a Pawney. It begins while you chase the ingredients for the Ancient Sacred Fragrance main story, and it is the only route to the Sword of Bravery that triggers the evolution.
Quick answer: Talk to the painter Sorora, catch and Twine with a Helmut, follow the crying Helmut to the summit, shatter the Dragonclaw Stone, pull the Sword of Bravery to evolve into Pawney, defeat the Level 50 Infergon, then return to Sorora.
How the Warrior quest unlocks
Warrior opens during the Ancient Sacred Fragrance main quest, which sends you to the Russet Highlands to gather perfume ingredients. On the way to the objective marker you will spot a Playful Helmut and a Romping Helmut chatting and then bolting off. Follow them and they lead you to Sorora, an amnesiac painter working at an easel near a cliff. Speaking to him starts Warrior, and you must finish it to continue the main story.
The Russet Highlands sits at region level 46 to 51 and is treated as the most dangerous area on the continent, so bring a capable team before you commit.
What you need before starting
- A wild Helmut (Dark element, Break role) caught and placed in your active party.
- The Twine ability, so you can transform into the Helmut to speak with the other Helmuts.
- A team ready for a Level 50 boss fight against Infergon.
Helmuts spawn in the stretch of land between the Russet Highlands and the Berylline area. Throw Anipod captures at one until it is secured, then open the Aniimo management screen and assign it to your battle party. You cannot understand the Weeping Helmut or draw the sword without a Helmut you have Twined with.
Warrior walkthrough
You know the quest is done when the painting sharpens, Sorora finishes his story about the crying Helmut that became a Pawney, and the reward screen appears with the Sword of Bravery curio.

Infergon boss fight
Infergon is a Level 50 flying dragon that appears the moment your Helmut becomes a Pawney. It circles the summit arena, drops rings of ground fire, and lunges with claw strikes. Stay mobile, step out of the burning rings, and keep pressure on it with Pawney and the rest of your party. When it is defeated it drops onto the arena floor and the Flame Flower spawns on the central pedestal.
Why the Sword of Bravery matters
Pulling the Sword of Bravery is the only way to unlock the Pawney evolution. Pawney cannot be caught anywhere in the world and exists solely as a Helmut evolution. The whole point of Warrior is to earn that blade, so any Helmut you want to evolve must be the one you Twine with at the summit.
