Chroma Ore sits at the higher end of things, with nodes running levels 45-50 in the Russet Highlands and a slightly lower 39-41 in the Berylline Vale, so this is late-game gathering rather than something for an early run. It's a Legendary node that yields Home materials, spread across six marked spots between the two areas. Four of those sit in the Russet Highlands and the remaining two in the Berylline Vale, so if you want the bulk of the ore in one trip, the Highlands is the area that suits.

If you only make one journey, head for the Russet Highlands. Teleport in at Twister Peaks and the four nodes sit a short 40 m stroll away, against the longer 75 m stretch from Mudstone Pass over in the Vale. The tighter cluster means less time on foot for more ore, and a Chest sits beside every node you visit, with an Aniipod Pro near most and a Charstone by a good few too. Sweeping the whole world for all six is only worth it if you genuinely want the pair in the Vale.
