Take the teleport to Beast Fang Ridge (Bloom) and cover the short 90 m stretch to the slopes where the sightings cluster thickest. Chests turn up within sight of roughly two in five of those spots, with an Aniipod just as common nearby and loose items scattered near about a third, so it's worth sweeping the ground as you go rather than heading straight for the catch. Emberpup itself evolves into Flameruff once it reaches the level for it, giving your Fire DPS a stronger form down the line.
