Flameruff isn't tied to one corner of the world. It shows up across four separate areas, with the bulk of its 37 spots concentrated at Beast Fang Ridge, and smaller pockets in Nimbus Fields, Echoback Landing and The Argent Strait. It also appears on the Operation: Egg Heist map. This is a Fire-element Aniimo that fills a DPS role, standing 1.2 m tall and weighing 18 kg. The Beast Fang Ridge population sits at levels 33-34, higher than the others, making it the pick if you want a stronger catch.

Flameruff grows from Emberpup and later evolves into either Scorchhowl or Inferlupa, so catching one early gives you a fighter worth raising. Teleport in at the Beast Fang Ridge Bloom and head out on foot for around 115 m to reach the cluster. The ground here is busy: a chest sits in view of roughly four in ten of the spots, a Sunny Daisy about as often, and loose items scattered nearby too, so gather those as you close in on your target.
