Update 4 brings a Tokyo Ghoul-themed world to Anime Breaker, the Roblox incremental simulator from HF x Anime Breaker. Ghoul City lands as Zone 8, a nighttime street map stacked with new progression systems and a crafting hub called the Ghoul Lab. Two endpoints anchor the whole update: a Broken-tier unit based on Ken Kaneki, and a Kagune that can be pushed all the way to an SSS rating.

Quick answer: Update 4 adds Ghoul City with the Ghoul Lab’s crafting systems. Its rarest unit is the Broken-tier One-Eyed Ghoul, and a Rinkaku Kagune refines up to SSS for a 2.8x Energy boost.

New progression systems in Ghoul City

You reach Ghoul City by breaking the barricade that blocks the entrance, the same damage-gate pattern the game uses for every world. Once inside, several systems unlock in sequence, each paid for in Gold. The rank cap also rises from 25 to 30, giving you room to keep pushing energy milestones.

  • Factions — a spin system unlocked for 1N Gold that grants Energy multipliers such as Aogiri Tree (1.6x).
  • Ghoul Card — a hero banner that pulls units like Silent Raven (Legendary), Special Class (Mythical), and Rabbit Ghoul (Epic).
  • CCG Stats — unlocked for 2N Gold, it rerolls letter-graded boosts for Energy, Damage, and Gold.
  • Ghoul Progression — unlocked for 4N Gold, a leveling screen that spends gems for incremental energy percentage multipliers.
  • Ghoul Test — a timed trial where you build the required energy inside a circle without leaving it to earn rank bonuses.

Inside the Ghoul Lab

The Ghoul Lab is the crafting and upgrade center for ghoul units and Kagunes. It splits into six tabs, each handling a different part of the loop, from summoning bosses to devouring materials for extra stats.

Rogue Ghouls and boss drops

Rogue Ghouls come in four types that match the four Kagune families: Ukaku, Koukaku, Rinkaku, and Bikaku. Each costs 20,000 Ghoul Blood to summon. Defeating one guarantees its specific Kakuhou and RC Cells, plus a 5% chance for a Ghoul Suppressor with a 25-pity counter.

These bosses use a fixed hit-count health pool rather than a standard damage bar. A Rogue Ghoul has 1,000 hits and a five-minute time limit, and every hit removes exactly one point regardless of your damage per hit. That makes them a team effort or a long solo grind.

Ghoul City also hides a secret boss. Ant King sits in an underground chamber reached through a drop point among the rooftops and alleys, and fighting it tests your damage against a hidden target with its own loot table.

Refining a Kagune to SSS

Crafting a Kagune in the Transplant tab takes five matching Kakuhou pieces. Once made, Refine raises its grade using RC Cells and Gold. The rank ladder runs from C up to SSS, and a maxed Rinkaku Kagune grants a 2.8x Energy multiplier.

Refine attempts can fail, and a failure can drop the grade. Toggling on a Ghoul Suppressor guarantees 100% success for that attempt, which is what makes the Suppressor drop from Rogue Ghouls worth chasing. Stacking Suppressors is how a Kagune reaches SSS without losing progress along the way.

Surgery and Kagune multipliers

Surgery unlocks for 1N Gold and works on top of Refine. It consumes duplicate Kakuhou, devouring up to 50, to push a Kagune’s multiplier even higher. A milestone called Half Kakuja lands at 25 devoured, so the system rewards steady material stockpiling rather than a single big spend.

The Broken One-Eyed Ghoul unit

One-Eyed Ghoul (Ken Kaneki) is the highest-rarity unit in Update 4, sitting at the Broken tier above Secret. It carries a baseline stat of +69,130 at Tier 6/6 and a World Breaker trait that multiplies Energy by 3x. That scaling is well beyond the Mythical and Secret units pulled from the Ghoul Card banner, which is why it functions as the update’s endgame target.

Paired with a maxed SSS Kagune and the Ghoul City multipliers, the Broken One-Eyed Ghoul is the piece that moves your energy output into a new bracket. Other cosmetics from the world, such as the Ghoul Mask in its Rainbow variant, add their own bonuses — the Rainbow mask gives 1.5x Damage.

Update 4 codes

Four codes shipped alongside the Ghoul City update, each handing out Emeralds you can spend on card spins and boosts. They are redeemed through the ticket icon in the in-game Shop after the tutorial.

NEWGHOUL200 Emeralds
NEWKAGUNE200 Emeralds and Potions

If a fresh code is rejected, rejoining a new server often loads an updated build where it works. You can jump straight into the current version on the official Roblox game page, then redeem from the Shop’s code menu. Rewards land in your inventory the moment the code is accepted, so a confirmed Emerald top-up is your sign it went through.
