A complete ranking of every Anime Destiny unit by DPS, support value, and boss-killing power, plus the traits and artifacts to slot on each one.

A complete ranking of every Anime Destiny unit by DPS, support value, and boss-killing power, plus the traits and artifacts to slot on each one.

Anime Destiny lives and dies by your DPS lineup, and the gap between a top-end Secret and a starter Legendary is enormous once you reach Legend Stages and boss events. The rankings below sort units by Ground and Hybrid DPS, support value, and overall utility, then pair each one with the trait and artifacts that squeeze the most out of it.

Quick answer: Build your team around an S-tier Secret like Frozen Moon (Kizuki), Founding Titan (Queen), or Shadow Monarch (Awaken), give it the Divine trait, and equip Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, and Strongest’s Tricorn.

all anime destiny units ranked

How the tiers work

Every unit here is judged at its EVO version, max level, with high-end stats and its best trait and gear. That matters because a fresh pull and a fully invested unit can sit on different shelves entirely.

TierWhat it means
S-TierMeta DPS and utility units that carry endgame content.
A-TierStrong sub-meta alternatives for DPS.
B-TierDecent but weaker DPS units that still pull their weight.
C-TierBeginner units for the early-to-mid game you should replace later.
D-TierEpics and Rares (except Crow Prodigy) you will drop quickly.

S-Tier units

These are the units worth spending your best trait rerolls on. The three Secrets at the top combine raw damage with shield breaking, summons, and crowd control, while Ashura Swordsman and Red Emperor prove that a well-built Mythic can keep pace with them.

UnitRanking notes
Frozen Moon (Kizuki)
Frozen Moon (Kizuki) — Secret
Strong DPS plus the stun on freeze stalls enemies for the rest of your team. The best shield breaker in the game. Trait: Divine. Artifacts: Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, Strongest’s Tricorn.
Founding Titan (Queen)
Founding Titan (Queen) — Secret
Massive full-AOE damage backed by Titan summons. Her active nukes bosses, making her one of the best boss killers. Trait: Divine. Artifacts: Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, Strongest’s Tricorn.
Shadow Monarch (Awaken)
Shadow Monarch (Awaken) — Secret
A meta blend of base and summon damage, though his summons hit softer than Founding Titan’s. Gains a damage buff when paired with Crimson Knight (Dark). Trait: Divine. Artifacts: Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, Strongest’s Tricorn.
Ashura Swordsman (3SS)
Ashura Swordsman (3SS) — Mythic
A meta mix of damage-over-time DPS and shield break. The best Mythic in the game for raw DPS. Trait: Divine or Stellar. Artifacts: Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, Strongest’s Tricorn.
Crimson Knight (Dark)
Crimson Knight (Dark) — Secret
Meta stats and great synergy with Shadow Monarch for the damage buff. Slightly weaker than other Secrets without that pairing. Trait: Divine. Artifacts: Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, Strongest’s Tricorn.
Red Emperor (Haki)
Red Emperor (Haki) — Mythic
One of the two best Mythics in the game. Trait: Divine. Artifacts: Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, Strongest’s Tricorn.

A-Tier units

A-tier covers sub-meta Mythics that still earn a slot, especially for single-target boss damage and shield breaking. Eternal Night swings hardest of the group, but her crit scaling makes her output streaky.

UnitRanking notes
Eternal Night (Blood)
Eternal Night (Blood) — Mythic
One of the better boss killers. Hits very hard but is RNG-heavy since she scales with crits. Trait: Sniper. Artifacts: Titan Slayer Blades, Scout Cloak.
Future Warrior (Furious)
Future Warrior (Furious) — Mythic
Great single-target damage for bosses, sitting just below meta DPS. Trait: Divine. Artifacts: Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, Strongest’s Tricorn.
Insect Slayer (Poison)
Insect Slayer (Poison) — Mythic
A softer version of Ashura Swordsman’s damage-over-time, but still a strong alternative. Trait: Divine or Stellar. Artifacts: Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, Strongest’s Tricorn.
Magicbane (Anti-Magic)
Magicbane (Anti-Magic) — Mythic
One of the best shield breakers in the game. Trait: Divine. Artifacts: Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, Strongest’s Tricorn.

B-Tier units

These units still clear content, but either their DPS or their cost efficiency holds them back from the top tiers.

UnitRanking notes
Radiant Hunter (Light)
Radiant Hunter (Light) — Mythic (BattlePass)
Lower DPS than the top tiers but solid against bosses thanks to reliable crit-based single-target damage. Trait: Sniper. Artifacts: Titan Slayer Blades, Scout Cloak.
Destruction God (Mogger)
Destruction God (Mogger) — Mythic
Decent DPS overall, but his high placement cost gives him a poor DPS-to-cost ratio next to higher tiers. Trait: Divine. Artifacts: Galactic Scouter, Strongest’s Coat, Strongest’s Tricorn.

C-Tier units

C-tier is your early-game crew. They get you through the opening hours, but you should swap them out once Mythics and Secrets start landing. Avoid pouring trait rerolls into them.

UnitRanking notes
Yellow Flash Hawkeye Corrupted Warrior
Yellow Flash / Hawkeye / Corrupted Warrior — Legendary
Great beginner units that fall off later. Save heavy trait rerolls for Mythics and Secrets. A quick Jack of All roll is a fine starting point on these. Trait: Jack of All.
Crow Prodigy
Crow Prodigy — Rare
A strong source of early-to-mid game shield breaking DPS. Bench him once you start pulling Mythics.

D-Tier and starter units

D-tier is reserved for the Epics and Rares you begin with and replace quickly as Legendaries and Mythics arrive. Don’t spend trait rerolls on any of them. The lone standout is Crow Prodigy, which holds value as an early shield breaker.

Best farm and support units

For grinding currency and buffing your carries, lean on Bulm and Cyan Idol, both run with the Tycoon trait. Cyan Idol doubles as a strong support and buffing unit, so she keeps a roster slot even after your DPS lineup is sorted.

How to unlock Ymir and Crimson Knight

Two notable units come from specific content rather than the standard banner. Finish the story to unlock Legend Stage 3, then farm Ymir there with 150 Pity. Crimson Knight comes from grinding the Igris Boss Event.

How to farm Gems in Anime Destiny

Gems fund your pulls, so keep several income streams running at once. The reliable methods are listed below.

  • Complete daily and weekly challenges.
  • Farm the 15-minute and 30-minute challenges.
  • Claim Index and Milestone rewards.
  • Farm Namak Planet on Hard.
  • Farm the Igris Boss Event for level XP, BattlePass XP, Stat Cubes, and trait rerolls.
  • Redeem active codes for extra Gems.

The Igris Boss Event is the most efficient single target because it feeds nearly every progression track at once. Pair that grind with a Tycoon-trait farm unit and you’ll have the rerolls and currency to push your S-tier carries to their ceiling. Rankings shift with balance patches, so revisit your lineup whenever a major update lands.
