Anime Expeditions Farming Guide: Fastest Gems, Gold, and Sprites

The most efficient repeatable methods for every core resource, from King's Tomb runs to the Gold Mine and Trait Crystal shops.

The most efficient repeatable methods for every core resource, from King’s Tomb runs to the Gold Mine and Trait Crystal shops.

Every serious push in Anime Expeditions runs on four core resources. Gems fund your summons, Gold pays for daily shop items, Sprites feed evolutions and endgame gear, and Trait Crystals let you reroll units toward stronger traits. The fastest way to stay stocked is to lean on repeatable stages and shop caps rather than a single grind, so here is exactly where each resource comes from and which method returns the most per minute.

Quick answer: Farm Gems by running King’s Tomb Mastery (about 100 Gems in under two minutes) and clearing Regular Challenge #1 every 30 minutes (about 1,000 Gems). Unlock the Gold Mine in Expeditions Mode at Level 20 for passive Gold, and never skip Daily and Weekly Quests since they pay out Gold, Sprites, and Trait Crystals at once.

Fastest Gem farming methods

Gems are your summoning currency, so demand for them never stops. The best approach is to stack several sources instead of relying on one. The two repeatable stages below carry most of the load, while the one-time bonuses give you large early boosts.

King’s Tomb Mastery for continuous runs

King’s Tomb Mastery is the fastest repeatable Gem farm in the game. A single run usually finishes in under two minutes and awards around 100 Gems, which makes it ideal for either active grinding or AFK farming. It also drops Gray Sprites, so you build two resources at once.

Regular Challenge #1 every 30 minutes

Challenge #1 resets every 30 minutes and pays out one of the largest single Gem rewards available, roughly 1,000 Gems per clear. Treat this as a fixed part of your routine and complete it whenever the timer is up.

One-time Gem sources

Story clears, Beginner’s Path Quests, and the Index deliver large first-time payouts that add up quickly early on. Each story stage grants a first-clear bonus, Beginner’s Path Quests reward Gems for finishing the opening stages, and the Index pays out for discovering new units, enemies, and equipment.

Note: The Event Shop and Expedition Shop also sell Gems, but they cost event currency that is better spent on exclusive and limited-time items. Only trade for Gems there if you need them right away.

Gold farming and the Gold Mine

Early on, your main Gold income comes from selling duplicate or unwanted units pulled from summons. Story Mode clears, and Daily and Weekly Quests add more, and the AFK Chamber slowly banks Gold while you are away.

The long-term answer is the Gold Mine in the Expedition Room. Once you fuel it, the machine generates Gold without constant attention, making it the strongest passive income in the game and your primary Gold source for the rest of your account’s life. Reaching Level 20 is the requirement, because that is when Expeditions Mode unlocks, and the Gold Mine becomes available.

How to farm Sprites for evolutions and gear

Sprites are the crafting material behind unit evolutions and powerful endgame equipment. Colored Sprites come mainly from Daily Quests, Weekly Quests, and Regular Challenge #3, which you can run up to 10 times per day for a steady stream of Sprite tokens.

For AFK players, King’s Tomb Mastery again earns its keep. Alongside Gems, it drops Gray Sprites, which are the most flexible Sprite type because you can convert them into any color through crafting in the Upgrades Zone. Bank enough Gray Sprites and you can produce exactly the colors an evolution recipe asks for.

Where to get Trait Crystals

Trait Crystals fuel trait rerolls, which are one of the most valuable long-term ways to strengthen units. Because they are limited, collect them steadily and save them for units you plan to keep. The daily and weekly shop caps below are the most reliable supply, and Story progress plus level milestones stack on top.

SourceAmount
Gold Shop (daily)Up to 25
Expedition Shop (daily)15
General Raid Shop (weekly)Up to 50
Spirit City Raid Shop (one-time)50

Account level milestones4 to 28 each

Full-star Story completion is worth the effort here, since three-starring both the Easy and Hard version of a stage returns three extra Trait Crystals every time.

Stat and Equipment Locks and Rerolls

Locks preserve a stat or a piece of equipment’s Stat Potential when you reroll, while Rerolls let you gamble for better rolls. You will burn through dozens of Rerolls over a full account, so pull from several sources rather than one.

The most consistent income for all four items is completing Regular, Daily, and Weekly Challenge Stages, which include them in the loot pool. The Beginner’s Path permanently hands out several Stat Locks and Stat Rerolls as you finish its objectives, which makes it the strongest early foundation. Equipment Locks come from clearing Expedition Stages, and Equipment Rerolls come from Expedition Quest Stages and permanent milestones in the Expedition Guide.

Several shops also stock these items for their own currencies, so you can top up whenever a stage grind falls short.

A daily farming loop that covers everything

Tie these methods together, and your resource problems mostly solve themselves. Clear Regular Challenge #1 every time its 30-minute timer resets, run Regular Challenge #3 up to its 10-per-day cap for Sprites, and set King’s Tomb Mastery as your AFK stage for background Gems and Gray Sprites. Buy your daily Trait Crystals from the Gold Shop and Expedition Shop, keep the Gold Mine fueled once you hit Level 20, and finish your Daily and Weekly Quests since they pay Gold, Sprites, and Trait Crystals in a single pass. You can start the game from the official Anime Expeditions Roblox experience and build the routine from there.
