The Hexed Blade is a Secret piece of Unit Equipment built only for Shadow and his evolved form, Shadow (Divine). It never drops from Mastery farming and never appears in any loot pool. The only way to own it is to craft it at the Crafting Station using colored Sprites and Gold.
Quick answer: Craft the Hexed Blade at the Crafting Station with 5x Sprite (Blue), 5x Sprite (Green), 5x Sprite (Red), and 10,000 Gold. It equips only on Shadow (Divine).

Hexed Blade crafting recipe and cost
The recipe is short and uses common materials, so there is no gambling on drop rates. You need three colored Sprites in equal amounts plus a flat Gold cost. Gather everything below before you open the Crafting Station.
| Material | Amount | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Sprite (Blue) | 5 | Regular, Daily, and Weekly Challenges; crafting |
| Sprite (Green) | 5 | Regular, Daily, and Weekly Challenges; crafting |
| Sprite (Red) | 5 | Regular, Daily, and Weekly Challenges; crafting |
| Gold | 10,000 | Stages, challenges, quests, and shops |

The colored Sprites come out of the Challenge game mode, split across three tabs. Each tab hands out a mix of Sprites plus Gold on completion, so running these on Hard Mode covers both the Sprite and Gold requirements at once.
| Challenge type | Example stage | Rewards include |
|---|---|---|
| Daily Challenge | School Grounds – Act 1 (Hard Mode) | Blue, Green, Red and more Sprites; 4,000 Gold |
| Regular Challenge | Flower Forest – Act 1 (Hard Mode) | Blue, Green, Red and more Sprites; 1,000 Gold |
| Weekly Challenge | Fairy King Forest – Act 4 (Hard Mode) | Assorted Sprites; 10,000 Gold |
A single Weekly Challenge clear can cover the entire 10,000 Gold cost on its own, while the Daily and Regular runs stack up the Blue, Green, and Red Sprites you need.
Craft the Hexed Blade at the Crafting Station
Areas menu from the left side of the lobby. Under the Upgrade tab, pick Crafting to teleport to the crafting area.E to open the menu. Select the Hexed Blade to see its material list and stat preview.5/5 for each Sprite and 10,000/10,000 for Gold, then craft the piece. Its two substats roll at random the moment it is created.Stats and the Winged Spirit passive
The Hexed Blade carries two rollable substats, Damage and Range. Both are randomized on craft, so the exact numbers you get land somewhere inside the listed ranges.
| Substat | Range |
|---|---|
| Damage | +1% to +10% |
| Range | +1% to +5% |
The passive is where this weapon matters. Its Winged Spirit effect replaces Shadow (Divine)’s own passive and activates once the unit reaches Upgrade 3. At that point a Winged Spirit spawns at the unit’s position and circles the field at 50% of the unit’s range.
The Winged Spirit deals 75% of the unit’s current damage every 5 seconds from its current location and applies Stun to enemies it hits. Compared with the unit’s built-in version, this variant hits 25% harder and starts three seconds sooner, which is why it is treated as core gear for any Shadow (Divine) lineup.
Reroll the substats if the roll is low
Because Damage and Range roll inside a range, a fresh craft rarely lands both at the top. An Equipment Reroll changes the substats, and an Equipment Lock holds one stat in place so only the other changes. Lock the higher roll first, then reroll the rest so you do not lose the value you already secured.
Both items come from Daily and Weekly Challenges. You can also buy them from the Gold Shop, Raid Shop, Spirit City Raid Shop, and Event Shop, where an Equipment Reroll costs 2,500 Gold.
How to confirm it is equipped and working
Open the Items menu and slot the Hexed Blade onto Shadow (Divine). Since it is unit-locked, it will refuse to attach to any other unit or an unevolved form. Once it is on, the unit’s stat panel updates with the new Damage and Range bonuses.
The Winged Spirit itself will not appear the instant you equip the weapon. It only triggers mid-run when the unit reaches Upgrade 3, so watch for the circling spirit and the stun effect once you hit that upgrade level in a stage. If you never see it, the most common reason is that the unit has not yet reached Upgrade 3.
