Goku Black arrives in Anime Vanguards as Holy Deceiver (Dark), an Exclusive unit tied to the Event Pass introduced with Update 14.5 Part 3. It is not a summon, not a dungeon drop, and not a Worldlines reward — the only route runs through the Event Pass, and the fastest version of that route is the paid bundle that hands over every tier at once.
Quick answer: Buy the Event Pass Bundle in the in-game store, then open the Event Pass tab and hit CLAIM ALL — Holy Deceiver (Dark) drops straight into your unit inventory.
Event Pass Bundle cost in Robux
The bundle sits in the store with a listed value of 6,750 Robux and a discounted price of 2,699 Robux. Buying it instantly completes the pass rather than making you grind the tiers, which is the whole reason it exists. Everything happens inside the Roblox experience itself, so you need to be in Anime Vanguards with enough Robux on the account before you start.

| Bundle price | 2,699 Robux |
| Listed value | 6,750 Robux |

Note: the Event Pass rotates out when a mini update lands, so the unit is only claimable while the current pass is live. No official closing date has been confirmed for it.

You know it worked when the unit shows up in your units list and can be equipped to a loadout. Place it in a match and it plays a placement cutscene before it starts attacking, which is the clearest on-field confirmation that you have the real Exclusive version.
Holy Deceiver (Dark) stats at level 60
Level 60 is the cap, and you get there by feeding units in the usual way. The numbers below are base placement stats with the Monarch trait rolled, measured with and without the exclusive Memoria equipped.
| Setup | DMG | SPA | RNG |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 60, no Memoria | 75,160 | 4.9 | 22.6 |
| Level 60, Bow to Your God | 103.90K | 4.9 | 22.9 |
The Memoria adds roughly 28K to base damage and a small range bump while attack speed stays identical. Damage scales further with in-game upgrades, and the unit’s attack covers a circular area of effect rather than a line.
Bow to Your God Memoria and trait rolls
Bow to Your God is exclusive to Holy Deceiver (Dark) and also levels to 60. Its Mortal Extermination passive buffs Dragon Sphere unit damage by 60%, and it carries a second passive, Ever-evolving Deity. The best-in-slot trait for it is Divinity, which is a straight reroll grind — one run landed it in 37 rolls.
Unit traits are a much heavier tax. Monarch on the unit itself took 767 Trait Rerolls in one attempt, so budget accordingly before you start burning currency. Neither the trait nor the Memoria is required to claim the unit; both are post-claim upgrades.
Passives and the Dark Dimensional Tear active
The unit leans hard on support value, so it is worth reading the passives before slotting it into a team. Holy Retribution buffs Holy damage by 80% and applies a 50% slow to enemies in range. Inviting Oblivion lets Dragon Sphere allies gain overcrit and deal sourceless damage that stuns enemies, which is why the unit pairs so naturally with an existing Dragon Sphere board.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Holy Retribution | +80% Holy damage, 50% enemy slow |
| Inviting Oblivion | Dragon Sphere allies gain overcrit and sourceless stunning damage |
| Mortal Extermination (Memoria) | +60% damage to Dragon Sphere units |
| Dark Dimensional Tear (active) | Spawns attacking clones for 30 seconds, 180s cooldown |
Dark Dimensional Tear is manually triggered and sits on a three-minute cooldown, so it is a burst window rather than something you lean on every wave. The clones it spawns attack independently for the full 30 seconds before disappearing.
If you want to test the unit before committing rerolls or feeding materials into it, Planet Namak has a sandbox mode where you can place it, upgrade it to max, and watch the area of effect and clone spawns without risking a real run.
