Radial Press is an Epic topside material in Arc Raiders, and it gates one of the upgrades people want most: pushing the Gunsmith past tier III. It only comes from scavenging, so there is no recipe or vendor shortcut. The fastest, most repeatable supply sits on one map, Pendola Pass, in two kinds of spots that refill over the course of a raid.
Quick answer: Deploy into Pendola Pass and loot two things — Storm Huts, which open up after the 25-minute mark, and the enterable train cars around the Railyard and Almatera Station. Radial Press lies loose on shelves, tables, and seats.
Radial Press stats and what it is worth
Before you farm it, it helps to know exactly what you are picking up and what it becomes. Radial Press carries the Mechanical and Industrial loot tags, which is why it turns up in workshops, rail yards, and machine-heavy rooms rather than homes or shops. Each one weighs very little, so a full stack barely touches your carry limit.

| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Topside Material |
| Rarity | Epic |
| Loot tags | Mechanical, Industrial |
| Stack size | 3 |
| Weight | 0.5 |
| Sell value | 3,000 |
Recycling one Radial Press returns a single Advanced Mechanical Component, the part that drives several high-end builds. Salvaging it instead gives one ordinary Mechanical Component. Recycling is the better choice almost every time, because the advanced version is far harder to source on its own.

Pendola Pass is a snow-covered summit map built around an observatory and a disused rail network. It unlocks after 25 rounds played and sits at a difficulty of 3 out of 5. The draw for Radial Press is the density of Mechanical and Industrial loot in a small cluster of rail and storm locations, so you rarely have to cross the whole map to fill a stack.

Open the tactical map as soon as you spawn and note the outlined high-value zones for that raid. The Railyard, Almatera Station, Loading Platforms, and Railroad Junction are the areas worth your time. The Commissary Supermarket and the observatory buildings hold other hideout materials if you have room.

Method 1: Loot Storm Huts after the 25-minute mark
Storm Huts are shelters that appear on the map late in a raid and open with high-tier gear and hideout materials inside. They begin spawning once the match passes the 25-minute mark and keep popping up every couple of minutes after that. Radial Press frequently spawns on their shelves and floors, often sitting next to parts like Epoxy Buckets.

Storm Huts stay open to anyone, so expect company this late in a raid. Move the Radial Press into your safe pocket the moment you loot it, so you keep it even if you get knocked out.
Method 2: Search the train cars at the Railyard and Almatera Station
The passenger and freight cars parked along the Pendola Pass rail lines hold loose industrial loot on their tables, seats, and shelves. This works from the start of a raid, so it is the thing to do while you wait for Storm Huts to open. Alongside Radial Press you will pull parts like Synthesized Fuel and Springs from the same carriages.
Two stops anchor the route. The Railyard carries the Industrial and Mechanical tags and runs as a high loot-value zone, making it the single best stretch of track for this material. Almatera Station sits nearby with Commercial loot and spawns Radial Press on its metal storage shelves as well.
| Location | Loot value | Loot tags |
|---|---|---|
| Railyard | High | Industrial, Mechanical |
| Almatera Station | Medium | Commercial |
| Loading Platforms | — | Exodus, Industrial |
| Railroad Junction | — | Electrical, Mechanical |

Other maps that drop Radial Press
Pendola Pass is the efficient farm, but the material’s Mechanical and Industrial tags mean it appears anywhere those container types are common. On Dam Battlegrounds, the Scrap Yard, the Primary Facility loading bay, and the water treatment area are worth checking. On Spaceport, the Vehicle Maintenance building and hangar benches hold the same kind of industrial loot. Buried City leans toward weapon cases, so it is a weaker pick for this specific material.

Night Raids raise high-tier drop rates, so running one of these maps after dark improves your odds of an Epic material appearing in those containers.
What Radial Press is used for
Most players farm this material for the workshop. Upgrading the Gunsmith from tier III to tier IV costs 3 Radial Press, alongside 3 Magnetic Accelerators and 1 Emperor Modulator, and that upgrade is a prerequisite for weapon amplification. It also feeds a handful of furniture and design recipes, including the Diner Table and the Sturdy Faculty Chair Design.
If you have no use for it, selling is reasonable given its 3,000 value. Once you have the three you need for the Gunsmith, there is no reason to hoard more than a stack unless a design recipe calls for it.
Confirming you kept it
You know a pickup worked when the interaction prompt reads “Radial Press” and the item lands in your backpack with the Epic frame and the “Used in crafting” line in its tooltip. To bank it, extract through one of the Pendola Pass return points — the Glacial, Northern, Reckless, or Supermarket Transceiver — and the material carries into your stash. Only loot that survives extraction counts toward your Gunsmith upgrade back at base.
